First of all, I’d like to apologize for my English — it's not mine but courtesy of an online translator.
My username is Sean-Sation. I’m a mid-level 2D artist at a game studio in Ukraine (just got promoted a couple of weeks ago—woohoo!). I’m also a junior-to-mid-level screenwriter.
As you can see, I didn’t mention being a game developer on my list. Keep that in mind when you see my attempts at writing code.
I’m not a fan of writing or reading long posts unless it’s lore from one of my worlds, so I’ll get straight to the point.
I’m diving into game development and currently working (or trying to work) on an auto-battler with some tactical elements. My main inspirations are "FTL" and "Lost to Monsters." The latter really showed me that even the simplest games can be engaging — as long as there’s something interesting to look at.
Mechanics:
The idea is a simple game with straightforward combat and tactical pauses. For the core combat mechanics, I took inspiration from what I loved about FTL: the ability to bend and break the rules for your opponent while adapting to their countermeasures. In FTL, this was achieved by targeting specific systems, disabling them, starting fires, and so on. Here, I’m aiming for something similar but more streamlined: influencing a character’s stats, cooldowns, blocking specific abilities—things that would make sense in an auto-battler.
At this stage, all the art, text, and mechanics are rough drafts. I’m filling the game with raw sketches, which I’ll refine into final versions later if the project gains traction.
Currently, my level of English isn’t good enough to translate or release builds to a wider audience. All the text is in Ukrainian for now. If anyone knows a good Ukrainian-to-English translator or a convenient translation service, I’d greatly appreciate the recommendation.
Lore:
There are now two concepts of lore. I can't decide which one to choose yet. Maybe both.
First:
There is a certain magical energy spread throughout the world. It's something like mana. It allows mages to do magic. But if you stay in areas where this energy is pronounced, then a person begins to accumulate “Heat”. It takes a very long time to get rid of it, but you can get rid of it quickly by orgasm or other sexual activities.
This leads to the fact that the protagonist often has to make sex deals with her enemies to release the accumulated energy from their bodies.
Second:
Some magical event triggered a catastrophe. All people now have one random fetish that drives them wild, and is possibly related to their personality.
The protagonist goes to the source of this magic to destroy it before society is permanently transformed by such changes.
But ironically, during her journey, the heroine realized that her randomly enhanced sex trigger was Fighting. The thing she loves to do most of all, and the way she fights her way to save the world from lustful corruption, is corrupting her
Maybe at the end of the journey she finally turns into some hot succubus demon, and goes all the way back, fighting with her former allies.
A subplot is also possible, where the order or cult that the protagonist serves, in addition to her personal task of destroying evil, gives her own task (optional): to prove her fertility by having sex with the strongest and most powerful creatures. This will provide additional conflict and motivation for the heroine's corruption. A duty to the world, to destroy the source of magical corruption, and a duty to the cult she has spent her life with, which requires her to become the perfect candidate for breeding for everyone.
Planned main fetishes:
Corruption, Combat, Exhibitinism, Stripping, Wardrobe malfunction
Maybe Impregnation but not Pregnancy
This is my first game that might actually see the light of day. I’d love to hear your thoughts about it.
