Hi everyone! This is my first time posting here.

I am an artist and newbie game creator. I have a plan for doing my first game. I tried to make it with rpgmaker because I like the vibe of rpg games, but I think I'll use it mostly for storytelling. I'm unsure how much gameplay I want to put in it yet and how does it look. or should i use renpy instead

Im sorry to say that but the game tag is NTR. I will create a pure route for every so that it IS NTR AVOIDABLE. I want to know what kind of game progress you like and what red flags you don't like in playing the game(boring grinding? or no gameplay?) I still can't decide what kind of gameplay I want. male or female pov or how should i start the event

If you want to focus on storytelling, it sounds like you want to create a VN and so Ren'Py would be your best bet. Folks usually use RPGM if they're interested in adding a more interesting gameplay experience than one typically finds in VNs. That's all I really have to say.
