i will ask nicely for god dammmn last time: why this last update for this game is not workin meanin game dont launch, don t open. and i already put that traceback, that happen when i launch the game and try it to open. is not my fault

I’m on a laptop too, and the game works perfectly for me in both normal and compressed versions.

I just got the new update, extracted it, and played without any issues. The game started up just fine without any errors whatsoever. So, it’s clear that the issue lies on your end, whether you want to admit it or not. Being rude won’t solve your problem, so please try to be more civil.

I know it can be frustrating, but try to keep your cool, or it might make you seem like a jerk.

Try downloading it again, extracting it properly, and maybe check that the path to the game isn’t too long, as Windows 10 can struggle with folders that have excessively long names. And perhaps make sure your pc meets the requirements for the renpy 8.5 version

As for saves just ctrl through the game or right click on the skip button in quick menu to jump to next choice. It take like 10 minutes max to get where you need.

I don't know why this isn't a problem for other people, so have to assume that you messed with the files somehow?

Delete the entire thing and re-extract to a fresh directory. Do not add anything else in there. If the problem persists then go find the files mentioned above and delete one of them.

Yay! Another game that you're forced to start all over... I'll be back to this once it gets completed, if it ever does.

You can just wait until a current save is shared here. Then pick it up from the next update. There's barely anything new in this version. You won't be missing out on much.

Or until a working WT mod is here, and use the left CTRL button to "minmax" options until you're far enough into the story that you want to read normally. That way you get gallery items & stuff saturated as well.

I'm not disappointed, i didn't except anything. And if it help the dev, i'm even all for it.
Anyways, to me the slow development was always a part of this game, but since the quality is here (to my humble opinion at least), i'm far than okay with it.

yeah it just a rework of the early chapters to improve Suzi from what I heard im waiting a bit to replay it myself

mostly because of Suzi which I agree with she kind of comes a bit to late to the story so her path does feel a bit odd in the old build
