Thanks that helped. I think I'm close to the end now.
When stuck I'm now just waiting hour by hour and visting all rooms. Very grindy and lot to click but you find the triggers that way.
Would be great if there was any hint on how to continue for things that dont come from the task list or that were not mentioned in conversations.
But I really like the game ;)

That was enjoyable. Kinda reminded me of some RAGS games, in a way. Kinda a classic porn game feel ^^

There was a bit too much trigger search, especially towards the end. Some can be quite obscure. It doesn't help that a lot of subplots seem to be interdependent, ie you can't do them before something else so even if you checked location X at time Y it might not trigger until you've done some seemingly unrelated other things ... plus, some stuff felt a bit red-herring-ish, like the basement room, or (early on) Rain.

The walkthrough I needed for

Otherwise I thought the walkthrough was incredibly useless as unless you follow it exactly it won't be helping you figure out what event is connected to what; not even which time or anything ^^; It's more a "solution" than "walkthrough", I'd say.

Characters ... overall nice. Sometimes it felt a bit "porn generic", oh, yeah, sure, you nice random person dude, help me take pictures. And clothes. How about a blowjob in exchange? That sort of thing. But, eh. It's about expected ;)

Writing was okay. Often a bit rushed. A few mistakes here or there; in a scene Lara for example is twice referred to as "he" ^^; Bit of a tendency towards run-on sentences but just this side of still being ok.

Ultimately it took me just shy of 100 ingame days to solve. Don't know if you got a next project planned or something, but imo some repeating events would have helped with the grind. There was a lot of "we can do that again" but then if the path is done it's just done and you can't interact with characters anymore; or at least not that I found out.

Anyway. Onto the 2nd chapter ...

PyoT Thanks for the feedback. Hotel was my first game and it shows. There are a lot of things I have changed in the next two games but there are still a number of issues since English isn't my first language (or my second for that matter :) )
The walkthrough is indeed more of a step-by-step solution since it is hard to write a walkthrough when you can do different paths in a non-linear order at times but not all the time.
If I have time I do have plans to do some corrections to Hotel at some point since it is the weakest link in the trilogy.

Thanks for playing and I hope you enjoy Haven as well :)

Henry73au Well that one is easy to miss.
Restaurant at midnight. (If you already did that step then First Floor Hallway at midnight.)
