Hogwarts: Magic Lessons Demo is intended to demonstrate a very ambitious project: a 2D side-scroller sandbox and dating simulator set in a huge version of the magic school from Harry Potter. The developer, Feodosiy, is capable of creating decent art, but what we currently have is merely a showcase of mid-tier visuals followed by a collection of bugs and half-formed ideas glued together in Unity within a project that is clearly very messy. Nothing works properly, and this results in a very poor first impression for a game. I believe a better option would have been to present more screenshots of the artwork, which is clearly the main hook of the project, and patiently polish the software until at least an introductory chapter of the story could be shown. This approach has been successfully used by many other unfinished sandbox games that, at the very least, allow players to enjoy a small portion of the experience and leave them wanting more. As of December 2025, this not-game is completely unplayable and not even translated. Why anyone would create a game without using the global language as the primary option, only to face problems later, is beyond me.
