I've been playing Holiday Island since it first came out, and I absolutely love it. As a patron, I've played through the entire game many times.

The art, animation, and story are so captivating that it's the only game I really play.

Some people complain about the grind, but I actually enjoy it. Getting to know the girls before you can have sex with them makes the game more rewarding. And for those who say there's no sex in the game, I can assure you there is! You just have to work for it.

A woman called Joy runs the island, and you're the only male there. As you meet the girls, you uncover the mystery of why you're there.

Holiday Island is a giant sandbox with an average of 50 PLUS achievements or whatever they are per girl. There's so much to do that it takes about 300 in-game days to unlock all of the achievements.

You know, I used to dislike people who said "I hate sandbox games" because there's a lot of them that are good out there. But after trying this one, now I get their resentment against it.

I don't mind sandbox-type games, really. But this one is probably the only exception. The grinding is very, very unbearable and almost consumed most of my time in vain. I've been in the island for more than 10 days and I barely scratch the surface. The in-game guide/task is very confusing, it won't tell me in details on what should I do next. Using cheats only help you a little, it won't solve most of your problems.

I swear I feel like a gay dude in this game because I don't know how to advance my relationship with one of them. Uninstalled.

Masterpieces~~I really like the days on the island. And the different girls are so attracted to me. But I am looking forward to the good ending for my holiday life. My favorite role is Amy~And the cheat mod is benefitful for my experience.

Very good game, you can choose the body types of the girls you want on your island and add some more if you change your mind as you progress through the game. something for everyone. of course you always need a guide to play games like these, but it has a built in one. The MC is complete garbage which is unfortunate as otherwise its a great game with a lot of content. Apparently som render have bee "re-done" although they have always looked the same to me apart from the new content.

Love the images and animations; lots of great character models. there is a mountain of content in the game and it is engaging for the player as there are plenty of events that occur naturally so that you can get an introduction to each character.

I've been playing this game for a month. It is packed with content, and although there is a lot of grind, it's a satisfying grind, and you earn everything you see. Also the developer has hints available for all of it...which I didn't notice until last night. Which didn't annoy me, this game has achieved a very high score in my book for immersion. I'm in it. The story ain't at all bad, and it's all aimed at keeping the player turned on. It can be overwhelming, so much you can do everyday. Very grateful for all the work put into this, this ain't no amateur production. One of the very best adult games I've played. Very grateful!!

It's the best game I've ever played. The characters are excellent and the gameplay enjoyable. I'm looking forward to the next update. I'll definitely be supporting the game because it deserves it. Thanks also to the community for allowing me to unlock all the images in the game. Even though I've completely finished it, I still play it from time to time because I like it so much.

The game has a solid sandbox idea and it works perfectly well in the holiday island setting.
The amount of content is very good although it is still in development. I am very looking forward to the new content (girls / scenes) that will be added.
I did not encounter any bugs (after ~5 hours played).

Do not see the appeal of this game at all after giving it a few hours of my time. I also came to see how grindy the game is and over-the-top some of the girls are. Their personalities mostly revolve around them either having big boobs or wishing they had big boobs.

The sandbox is unattractive and a detriment to the game. The lack of story and a self-insert MC make this game flop on its face as all it has to offer are mediocre lewd scenes and girls. Recommend avoiding this with a ten-foot pole if you respect your own time.

This is the type of game that makes you hate sandbox mechanics: Unbearable grind, clicks, clicks, and more clicks over the most insignificant stuff. I don't know but if you need a manual to get trough the game and cheats to make the experience more "bearable" maybe something is not right.

Tons of potential. But.. all the girls are the same.. Same lines. Same motions. Minor tweaks to talk about if they are short, or have big boobs. Thats it.
Honestly the grind was really boring. Due to the above issue.. your stuck holding down the control key in hopes new dialog comes up.. but.. it doesn't.

The renders are.. ok. If your a fan of fake boobs this is your paradise. There isn't a real looking anything on this island.

I like this game quite a bit. I'm a fan of most of the LI's,and there is a ton of activities to do. The built in companion mod is a life saver as well,and more games should implement this. The writing is good,with no "Engrish" moments.

My one negative would be that there is still a few renders here,and there that are of markedly lower quality,and it really breaks immersion. This may be an android only issue though.
There is also some lesbian action without the MC,some players may consider this NTR

I give this 4 stars,and would enthusiastically recommend to any dev out there,that wants to learn how to build a quality sandbox game.
I'd also recommend this to most players,even if they're not a fan of sandbox.

A nice game, I have 999 days on the island and it's still fun, with Amy, Brenda, Eva Alice and so on. Animations are sometimes very jerky with Brenda

i don't want to hate this game, the renders are mostly great, the chicks are all hot. the setting is not terrible. the dialogue is cringe but it's easy to ignore.
however, this is the worst game on f95 when it comes to not respecting players time.
the grind is beyond unreasonable, and even if you try to use the dev-made cheat tool, you still have to grind through the game, waiting for certain days so you can progress a girl.
you can also try to download a save file, just to realize that most scenes dont even appear with text on the scene replay... so what's the point?

I really like Holiday Island. I love almost all the girls on the island, except for the tall muscular one: Ivy, sorry guys but I'm just not into that. I think Darkhound1 is doing a excellent job with constant adding new locations, girls and events with the girls. There's never a dull moment in the game!

But there is one thing that bothers me quite a bit.
Darkhound1 really likes teasing, does he? I think almost 80% of the scenes with the girls ends with teasing instead of sex.
I've been playing the game for quite a while now and I think I'm about halfway through. Some girls more then the others.

So I've been on the island for a long time now and have been spending time with some of the girls for quite some time. I've had sex with them several times, and they send me nude pictures of them self all the time. But I still get scenes from those girls that they only tease me. Or if I ask for more, they get angry. Why?
There are so many scenes that end where I think why? I would do that so much different!
Well, I don't think that's to surprising. There are probably many of you who have that too. I have it with so many other games as well!

But let me give you some examples.
We're going into spoiler territory here, so if you haven't played the game yet, you might want to stop reading here!!


So all I'm actually saying is, maybe a little less teasing and a little more sexy time? ...pretty please..

One of the worst games I have played so far on this site.

You'll find yourself grinding for HOURS before seeing your first little scene which might be a blowjob with 4 fps. The girls all do really look hot, but they have zero personality. You'll do the same thing everyday: Hug them, kiss them, talk about various topics without any actual dialogue, these "conversations" are usually 1-2 sentences long, and all girls have the same replies.

So you're just annoyed clicking through the same texts every day, trying to be as fast a possible to get it done, but you need to repeat that so often, that this is what you'll be mainly doing.

Quests often won't get finished, events that are supposed to trigger because you fulfill the requirements won't get triggered, and there is no story. You have to repeat all the tedious tasks for every single girl, so you can get many different values slowly up from 0 to 100.

This isn't really a "game", nor is there much porn in it. It's a clicking simulator that throws a little cheaply animated scene at you every 2-3 hours.

I'm really like these kind of games, that let me create my own route. I think the models of the girls are really unique; and the progression of the game it's not difficult but it's not easy, neither.

Holiday Island (v 0.4.0.0) has strong good things and bad things. Starting with a story that's completely uninteresting and full of characters who are just as uninteresting as the story itself. Then the gameplay is... great and horrible. It requires a lot of trying things to get different scenes, relying on luck for some to trigger, waiting and farming, but also can be fun to hunt for scenes and see how to get them and they all provide quick sexual content in increasing levels. I would certainly recommend playing with the cheat mod, it takes away the grind and makes things far easier to do like changing girl's clothes or moving them to the locations you need them. And there certainly is a lot of content, of increasing quality as you advance through the game.

Render quality is pretty decent as well, and I particularly like the girls as they seem to have been done or modified for this game in particular, so they don't feel as overused as the girls in other games. Sound is a bit meh, probably would be better without it, and animations are a bit weak especially in earlier content, and though there are some improvements in both they are still subpar compared to other games.

So, all in all, halfway through. I'll keep on playing a bit until I really decide where it lands.

My favorite game of all time! The women are all so incredibly gorgeous, sexy, beautiful...shall I go on? And the art and animation is the best I've ever seen in an AV of this style! Personal favorites are Yvette, Amy, Miriam, Mercedes, Yumiko...aw, hell, they're ALL great!!
