So first of all this is only a small (less than 5 min) demo, so I'm gonna give my thought based on that.

Nice animated intro, insane art quality and multiple images per scene, custom music, voiced dialogue, good start for the story: all the ingredients are there to potentially make this one of best games on this site.

Despite all of this I'm gonna have to remove 1 star given the sheer amount of similar projects that had an impressive demo and were completely abandoned later.

The devs are already talking about 50+ characters and a thousand quests ( !!! ) seemingly without realising that they don't have the crazy amount of funding it would take to keep this project going. Maybe try a few smaller projects and build a solid fanbase before attempting something like this?

Nonetheless I'd say I'm cautiously optimistic

For a version 0.0.1 you cannot expect much content. There is only one scene and the skeletons of basic mechanics. However, these foundations are extremely solid and it looks like this game will be amazing in 1-2 years when it has been fleshed out. The one scene it has is better quality than 80% of games you'll find so as long as they keep up the good work this is one to watch.

I'll give The Demon Hunt a very, very hesitant 5 stars, I've decided that since no progress has been made, I'll change it to 2 stars. I understand that creating a game takes time, and real life stuff happens. But it has been 8 months since release and my initial review without any change.

It is hesitant because there's really not much to speak of yet. The game is in its very early stages, but I think it seems promising. I like the art, and there's even voice-lines for most of the dialogue which is quite novel for these kinds of games.

There's also an exploration system which I though worked pretty well - basically you walk through various scenes. I think it will be very interesting to see where the developer takes this games. I hope that they're ambitious
and opts for a more immersive and interactive world than what most adult games offer. This could be through choices of various kinds, deeper characters that are more than just "suck my dick" etc. I also hope that they will consider a less binary system of pure/impure that most of adult games work with.

Let me break it down for quick reading:
The good:

1. The Art is quite novel and interesting
2. The atmosphere is good
3. I love that the character isn't some mega-boobed girl
4. It is interesting with the voice-lines.
5. The game has promise

The bad:

1. There's currently nothing to do in the game, and it plays more like a very short demo. Obviously, that will be fixed.

As a final note: my praise and criticism is quite general and my review had more similarities to feedback than a review. I'm looking forward to updating this review some day.

Registered just to say that this game is really cool and i mean it, even though it's in the very beginning of development. Cant wait to play full version. Art is incredible, even if you not really into that kind of games, you will like it. And if you like it... well, what are you actually waiting for ? Support this guys, just like i did.

I've never been more disappointed by what looked like a very promising game. I sincerely hope this just wasn't ready for release and is not a representation of what to expect for the final product.

First the choices seem completely meaningless. In the very first scene the MC can either get raped or banish the demon and be fine. The end result is the same in every case, the game defaults to the 'raped' choice (character wakes up covered in 'something slimy'.

Next after that very short scene the game abruptly ends without telling you (nothing to do and bombarded by 'work in progress' images). Its barely 5 minutes long.

I can't really comment on the writing because frankly there is almost none, certainly not enough to even get an idea of what to expect if this gets off the ground. The plot does seem painfully generic thus far (could absolutely turn out good, there is just no way to tell at all).

Next the porn, this is my biggest gripe since its the main reason we're all here . The sex scene writing is fine to good honestly, definitely above average. The problem is the CG's the first scene starts with the 'blowjob' in the preview, which could sound perfectly fine except that's the only cg for that part of the scene. The text describes the mc deepthroating, getting cummed on and shit, but in the drawing she never actually touches the dick. Same goes for the sex which only shows the demon suggestively grabing the mc from the back. Only reason at all we know there's penetration is because the text tells us. I don't expect the games to fully apply the 'show, don't tell mentality to 100%' but I would honestly prefer a pure text scene to a frustrating tease.

All in all this simply wasn't ready for release. It's not a demo, hell it doesn't even qualify as a proof of concept. The misleading version numeration just adds insult to injury. I'm still giving this a 2 star because the artwork is frankly incredible and the voice acting isn't terrible for once. My advice to the dev is to wait until they have at the very least one solid hour of gameplay before releasing the next update and for the love of god do something about those sex scenes. I will update this review accordingly if positive changes are made.

This is a really great and promising start. Sandbox part of the game was comfortable for me and UI also good for players. I was afraid from the roaming system but it was great too. I got engaged with the story. Artworks are beautiful and lewd scenes are very hot.
