Unity - Completed - Holy Knight Arne and the Cursed Crest of Monstrous Mating: Another No Tears [v1.0] [NoTears]

This is not an amazing game. I like when games are balanced, meaning that they provide a challenge without you losing all the time.

This game is very, very easy. Especially if you just stay in your transformed state (the blond state). There's really no reason not to.
The commands are also weird, and I suspect they'd only get worse as you get more abilities.

Then there's the biggest gripe of all with side-scrollers: confusing maps. As a rule of thumb, the player should always know what direction they need head to. There should be no confusion whether you've already been in some are. You do so by making fairly simply maps.
This game is not like that. It's a mess and you end up back-tracking and not really knowing if you've gotten everything.

Then there's the H-content. Firstly, you must lose to get there, and this game is so easy that you must do that on purpose. Secondly, the first scene I got to never stopped. There was no way to get out of it, and I tried literally all buttons. It was also no particularly inspiring in any sense of the word.

Anyway, it was a fairly poor experience.

So there's basically two ways to take this game.

As a game, which it kinda feels like an old flash sidescroller except a bit more polished, but also lots of frustrating aspects. Not a great experience

Or as hentai, at which it's definitely a niche, but it excels in that niche compared to other similar attempts. If you're a monsterpreg fan, this hits that mark QUITE well.

The story can be deep IF you want to read into it, or you can just skip it all because gooner.

The voice acting is great, the artwork is a little simplistic but good, and the h-content hits the mark for non-human preg fans. Alot of attention was placed on the mechanics of it, perhaps so to the detriment of the rest.

Because yes, combat in this game is a SLOG - the platforming itself is not bad, better than most, but the enemies, and whole combat system is not very fun. There's also quality of life features that just aren't there and create even more of a slog. (For example, no self destruct or seduce buttons, which makes taking damage (and it can take a LONG time) the only way to lose and 'view'.

the gallery is frustrating as well, implemented haphazardly. Add to that some branching paths that aren't called out unless you find an easter egg by the circle, no explanation on how to get rid of the last mental point, all enemies are basically teh same except they move a little differently

There was alot of passion put into this game, but either not enough experience or resources to build what they really wanted.

While not amazing, game is still definitely worthy of a gooning or two (or ten), and that's the primary reason anyone's here. For Monster Preg fans, this is pretty up there. In particular, Arne's reactions to pregnancy and the slow but reasonably quick gestation are absolutely gold, along with actual birth scenes. (Voice acting is very good)

If you've played Pure Flame - the circle's game prior to this one, it's got alot of similarities in terms of mechanics, difficulty level (which is basically none unless you purposefully screw yourself over) then it'll feel weirdly simialr but you can definitely tell the different engine and experience level of the final product.

If i had a magic wand, I'd want thisto be updated and upgraded up to be more like a Guilty Hell or Night of Revenge, Ricca would be a good comparison. You can sort of sense that's what they wanted here, but it was just too much for them. For example, you can get 3 worms to attack her at once, but that rarely if ever is a situation outside of the gallery? But no other enemies have that interaction either.

So overall, absoultely worth checking out, but this circle has ALOT to go if they want to shift to this engine. But i do enjoy them, and woudl recommend this game to the more fucked up of us preg fans.

I'm not sure why this game has bad reveiws, for myself is one of the best sidescroller /metroidvanias from the Hentai genre.

The controls are super responsive (if playing with a dualsense or xbox controller) and the combat feels nice and engaging, having the protagonist with a "normal" form and a transformed form makes it have different gameplay and combat.

As a metroidvania even if few it has a "relic" system like on symphony of the night, once you find it it makes possible doing a jump with the sword that bounces and a double jump that lets you explore new areas.

The game is short but has different areas, even has a nice castlevania easter egg (the long stair with the moon behing before the last boss), so if you are an oldschool castlevania fan you may enjoy this game.

As for the H part, it has plenty of kinks, the protagonist starts as a virgin and you can "keep" it on the first minutes and do a virging run or make any enemy take it away.

There are plenty of enemies, from mosnters like goblins (I hate those things!!!), to orcs (they look green enough for me to kill them), minotaurs, bug type, monster girls and animal enemies like wolves, pigs, monkeys, etc.

The hentai animations are plenty and all the enemies have 2 types, the vaginal one and once she gives birth unlocks the anal position.

The pregnancy mechanic is nice, if you save the game it will cure it but if you walk enough the belly will grow and have multiple stages and even the flavor text when whe is being assaulted changes.

The protagonist will have an "ovum" protection barrier but once she reaches 50 mental state it will go away (if you want to lower that quick let the pig enemy have their way, a normal enemy gives 1 corruption per orgasm but the pig enemies will give 4 corruption).

It comes with a nice "sexual status" menu that covers many things and a beastiary to watch all the enemy types and how many times each get "laid" with her, number of pregnancies from each enemy, etc.

Overall a very good sidescroller.

It tries way to fucking hard to be an anime, a hentai and a game at the same time that it ends up being annoying as all hell and of poor quality on all these fronts.


Endless, meaningless padding with non-H animations (during maps or the visual novel segments, it happens everywhere), never-ending barely skippable dialogue and meaningless choices just added for the sake of trying to be a visual novel and absolutely god-awful gameplay. It's like it saw the many great games and only used the absolute basis so you can technically call it a platformer/side-scroller.

Also just incase someone is masochistic enough to play this, skip the opening story. It's stupid, lengthy, and has shota content. Like a final fuck you from the dev when unknowingly stumbling into this steaming pile of cinnamon roll (attempting to cool down the swearwords like a good boy.)

Don't play this if you value your time and sanity, anything it may offer is not worth the hassle.

Its a really short game, 1 to 2 hours tops if you fuck around the map too much. Not to mention its stupidly easy, you'd have to go out of the way to get raped or be defeated by a boss.

The combat is boring, nothing to spice it up other than cards that act as skills, which become irrelevant once you find the combination that heals you to full and makes you invulnerable for a few seconds, making the combat even more boring and easier.


So you are probably wondering why I rate such a mediocre-sounding game so high. That that would be because the CG, voice-acting and preg content carry the entire game.
The CGs are beautifully drawn and interesting, the voice acting is top-notch, you can clearly hear the pain and despair of the protagonist during certain scenes. And the pregnancy system is implemented where its fast enough to not make it tedious, but slow enough to be of noticeable.


Just find a True Ending save and check the recollection room, thats the best way to enjoy this game.

man this game need more development, many niche genre gone waste because of the bad development, i just play for 1 hours, i just cant, i drop it.

the game focus on pregnancy, ofcourse for me its a plus point because i have goon on that genre..... BUT.... its just so kinky.

The developer should doing more development,fix the kinky thing, make the plot more... the last game is just decent, but this one, is bad
