VN - Ren'Py - Abandoned - Home Sweet [v0.1] [urodi]

I have to be careful with how I review games, speaking my mind and being brutally honest gets you censored. So I'll try to kiss as little ass as possible doing this rating.

Story:

The story is okay, it's very cliche but at this point in the game most of these games are. The game reminds me of a certain game that I won't mention (Don't want to be censored), it's not a bad thing but not necessarily a good thing either. Horny guy bangs a sex worker prostitute in his mom's bed and get sent to... therapy. Yep, therapy. Kinda like another game that I can't mention due to... yeah.

The game follows cliché tropes, peeking, staring, too much inner dialogue , the whole works. He's constantly in his head: "Oh my god, she's so hot, she could be a pornstar." "She's so hot, she could be a playboy model." "She's so hot she could be a whore on the street."

Like okay, I get it. Your "Roommates" are hot. Try to change up the banter with the main character if you will, because I have eyes and can see for myself. The gameplay ends on the sleep sex note, where he jizzed on his drugged up mother. And that's about it.

Renders:

I like what I saw, the Dev did a good job there.

Models:

Models look good to stare at. Choice of models though... nevermind.

Dialogue:

Same horny guy talk, he's craving pussy nonstop and that's pretty much all there is to his character so far.

Overall reaction:

It's what you make it. I could've rated this game a whole other way but then I would've had someone in my DM's nitpicking me, so there you go. Good luck to the Dev. Try to add layers to the main character and give him depth... or not.

Not too much here so far, but what is here is exactly what I play these games for. This one has a lot of promise and if you are into family banging, this looks to be right up your alley. Renders are great, models are hot, you can see the setup for the therapist helping him *ahem* connect with his family. Good luck dev, can't wait to see more.

v0.1 Review :-

Renders are great, models even better. It's your standard-fare cliche plot of horny manlet son lusting after his own family, but if incest is your kink, this does the job well. Writing is good, grammar is fine, couldn't find any mistakes. Current playtime of v0.1 is about ~10 mins.

Synopsis- MC has sex with a prostitute, Mom catches him and sends him to therapy, where the (sexy female) therapist will help him be comfortable with himself, ie accepting his lust for his family. She will be the linchpin in getting MC together with his family, and could possibly be a future LI.

The plot moves quickly, it's not a slow-burn, there's no real action with the family yet, but it's gonna come soon by the looks of things. Don't go in expecting Shakespearean levels of writing and plot complexity, it's quick and easy to get into, and it gets the job done. Keep your expectations tempered and you won't be disappointed.

PS- This needs an Alabama patch, currently MC refers to Mom as Landlady, and sisters as House-mate/room-mate.
