Overview:
In Homecoming, you take on the role of a young Japanese snow fox named Hiroyuki Nishimura. After moving away from your hometown Minasato to Osaka five years ago, you receive an unexpected letter from an old friend inviting you back for one last summer vacation before starting your senior year of high school. What complicates things is how you've neglected to contact any of your friends over the years. Although nervous, you accept the invitation.

What awaits you back in Minasato? Will you be welcomed with open arms, or has it been so long that everyone has forgotten about you? Will this be yet another wasted summer, or will you finally have the chance to experience what makes life worth living?

i really loved the original game and was so sad it never got finished (mostly because torahiko deserved a route dammit!!!) but i'm...not sure how i feel about this-- mostly due to the character redesigns. kouya doesn't look like himself!

i'll probably end up giving this a look-see regardless because hell, it's morenatsu! and i can tell the devs put a lot of love and effort into this

I'm just gonna say it, at this point, while I'm still not, and probably won't EVER be a furry? I've come to realize I DAMN good and well have embraced the furry games because they deliver more and BETTER than most other games could ever come CLOSE to, because they try a LOT HARDER than a LOT of people you tend to see more often than not, because they seem to more often than not actually CARE about getting a quality product out.

I guess to shorten all that down? I'm eating good as FUCK today? Tomorrow? And fucking then some.

Ironically enough, that's what I found them by first, and am following closely, but unfortunately it doesn't really consistently remain updated here, so all I can do is wait for each monthly build, but I'm relatively satisfied as is! At least I know that there'll ALWAYS still be a build I haven't played, so progress is imminent each month. If I had access to their current patreon build, I could end up not having access to it the next month, so I'd go a whole month without anything to indulge in.

This doesn't mean that I don't still wish I had access to the build though.

I used to be a bit miffed about how Hiroyuki is now a fox instead of humans. Why fox, really? But eh... whatever I guess. The rewrite and new contents, though, are pretty good

Tbh I'm happy whenever this is the case. If feels so weird if everyone is an anthro but the player isn't. If it's a 50/50 ratio of humans and anthros, sure why not being human.

I'm pretty sure in the original, there was a mention of other humans living in Minasato and Osaka. Some of these humans were seen during Bon Festival scene too. But because they're not exactly important characters, they were not brought often. I think in the original, Pops the owner of Raimon was also a human

Foxes are popular (not so much when the church had the last word) and look stunning with their many types. You can even hold them as house pets if they are properly domesticated and their big eyes, long ears and cute noises when excited are just beautiful.

Oh and the anthros have black hole arses that can fit anything when it comes to nsfw.

Also, foxes are the most popular furry species not covered by the cast (Kouya's close enough to a wolf to check of that mark) and fit Hiroyuki's personality. Oh, and the Yuki part of his name means snow (I think), so snowfox it is.
