With the stuff I'm doing now, this is the first time I've really started thinking about my creations as "characters" lol And yeah, that second card is more where I'm at now, in terms of finalising a design. The first girl was an earlier draft, I guess? Will probably use her in the background until I go back and work on her some more.

I honestly don't know why but the Sylvia character feels a bit special and wanted to keep the persona(?) as close to the original as possible haha
It works, but it isn't necessary as all the tings you could possibly get from the patch are in R3, the patch is usually a bit behind.
You've come to the right place for a game like Honey Select, this is as close as you could possibly get without a literal copy and paste of Honey Select itself.
This quote overloads my peanut brain but i guess you could dig really deep on Kenzato's booru or illusion game cards' booru for realistic-looking cards amongst all the usual balloonfest.
Or do what i do and make cards so you can tailor them to your very own preferences!
HF Patch makes a backup of your BepInEx folder so theoretically, it should work, but i don't recommend it since, like Alex said, the repack has everything you need.

Got some from Booru's, probably only like 7 close to real person looks. The other just anime-waifu. Even then, those 7 cards still need some adjustment to everything. But 7 are enough for now, I'm not dev nor studio freak, just want to play the game.

Disable bloom. In Studio you can set a threshold, but I doubt that's possible in the game itself. F5 opens the advanced graphics menu if you're using the repack.
i donwloaded the the torrent along with the 40 gig side loader where i copy paist them into the mods folder and its still saying version 1.1.3

Nope, completely unnecessary.
The mods don't change that number, the number in this picture is the game version. Only official updates will change it.

Can you someone let me know how to use occlusion maps that I should use through material editor? I got a couple from discord but I have no idea how to properly apply them. When I use the png, the textures simply change to bright blue (visible) and bright green (should be hidden?) I have no idea what I'm doing. It's supposed to be a modification for the barmaid top.
