VN - Ren'Py - Hooked! [v0.5.4] [BlenderKnight]

Simply fantastic! It has been a while since I got so hooked (no pun intended), on a game, relly nice animations, good sound and music selection and so far nice plot, hope to see more soon!

On a side note, I may be biased on the art style, I REALLY like it, and BK has done one heck of a job with this one tbh...

Pros:

1. Would love it if it goes just a tad bit beyond the plot and start minor romance or something. Not sure if in plans.

Verdict: Abso-fucking-lutely yepppity yeppppp! Absolutely shatters most titles on this site in terms of comedic timing along with the.....fantastic renders.

Renders, animations, Art-style and good enviromental features.

Good character personality. Great history build up and plot, characters complement each other in one way or another. Scenes doesn't feel forced or rushed.

Art style very unique, made in blender so you know it has a lot of effort in the development, the 2000's like art it's what makes this game great and catchy

Insanely hot renders, animations, art-style. Maybe the best I've ever seen but definitely top 10.

A lot of talent and effort has gone into this. Just genuinely fun and sexy and oddly wholesome, which is bizarre to say but when you're as brain ruined as I am from non-stop insanity and perversion being served 24/7 on this site, Hooked is like a breath of fresh air.

Highly recommended, even if you're not super into visual novels.

Animation, art style, writing, setting, characters, all really good. Characters have actual personality and feels like real conversations.

Only critiques would be:
Needs a gallery. I want to know if I'm missing things with the choices I'm making and the different paths. I don't want to have to guess and replay a million times to see everything.
Would like sex sounds/sound effects in the scenes more than just some moaning.
Would like the scenes to be more fleshed out and longer instead of a few short loops.

Overall great game and looking forward to more.

Love how unique this game is. I never expected this artstyle to click with me but it did and I love it. The gameplat is nice and the with the walkthrough it's easy to play. All the girls are amazing as well.

  Visually the game is 5/5. Great art style, clear renders, top-notch animations. If you’re looking for a game that’s mainly about visuals, this one is totally worth playing.

Meh / Cons

• Story
  It’s not bad, but it’s not captivating enough — just a bunch of nerds trying to make porn. The writing is okay, but there are too many cultural references; over time that gets annoying if you don’t have early-2000s nostalgia. The girls are inconsistent: at the beginning they act like total virgins despite supposedly wanting to make porn, but later in the game they behave more or less normally.
• H-scenes
  Too short. The narration and dirty talk aren’t very good; often there are only a few lines per animation. There’s almost no build-up — long stretches of meh story, then suddenly “ok, time for the sexy stuff.”

Amazing art style. High-quality animations. Characters have complex personalities with depth, which is conveyed in scenes with quality writing.

The main downside is scenes are mostly stills (but still good), and there are few scenes (v0.3 had like 4, not sure how many there are now). And there's no built-in gallery.

It's very vanilla (which may be good or bad or neutral), with the characters being fairly inexperienced and awkward at times.

There are a few too many choices that lead to the same results, which is a bit annoying if you're trying to see all the scenes.

This game is fucking delicious. I would dare to say this probably comes closest to portraying what realistic sex is like from all the adult games I've got to play as of yet. (Believe me I'm a fucking fiend...) Not only that, but the accompanying smut is fucking sensational. I had just as hard a time holding off my shit as the fucking MC did. It is just cute as hell.

I'm not too keen on 3D porn, but the visual design of the game is just slick, warm and charming. I love it! The animations are adorable and arousing. They nicely grab the essence of the scenes.

The characters are the textbook examples of what quality over quantity means. Their visual and contextual design is genius. It's blatantly clear how a lot of actual thought went into them to fit the role they serve, and oh boy do they serve well!

The story is unique, tries some pretty bold stuff, and manages to still come off as entertaining. It has its humour, and seriousness at all the right moments.

I leave this review here on version 0.5.0 of the game by which point it already is a masterclass on what an excellent adult visual novel should look like.

Gotta admit, I'm kinda "hooked" ...

I was immediately surprised how well this game is made. The story is good, the animations are legendary, and the renders themselves look really good.
I expected nothing when I played this game, but was really impressed with everything.

The beginning is quite slow but after the interview things begin to get interesting, not only the action but the art gets better all the time. It's probably the best game I have played using this style, and it's far more entertaining than Borderlands The characters are also well developed so barring the slow start this is a solid product. And the ending part of the shooting at the metro is hilarious.

Looking forward to seeing what happens next!

this game is one of the greatest games i played from from F95 this is my first time thinking of lowk going and supporting a creator and maybe donate type shit. I hope game gets future updates and i am looking forward to its full release soon I hope creator doesn't lose interest like some other ones I am lowk happy after playing this game

Perfect...maybe too perfect....makes me wonder when was the last time I've actually gasped at the amount of talents and efforts that were put into a smut. Content wise your choice does affect your experience, like they will actually note on the small details that you do, and along the way convos are stuffed with some good chunk of knowledges to keep the flow going without dying out, and the amount of 2D arts and then 3D and then animations and then voice acting and then the retro theme and, and, and like HOLY GUACAMOLLY my mind is really blown. Also makes me wonder when was the last time I learned some cool neat things from a smut, so you could say this is some true "art, art, art" stuff, bringing back what people actually want in a visual novel, a good blend of unseriousness and seriousness, AND actually raise my bar for what a perfect VN should look like. To be frank I didn't even realize it was Beta cause I sure spent a lot of time actually minding the conversation between characters and their chemistry, trying to understand their personalities and angles and they are pretty consistent. Like seriously I saw this game having a 4.9 rating and I must say BlenderKnight deserves every last bit of praise from it.

The premise is silly but the animations and everything else is 10/10. very smooth and very hot. All the girls are great and different. Helen gives Marie Kanker vibes and is a baddie. Can't get over the animations though. Hope more games follow suit

One of the best game here and every release they improve technically.

I love the style, the storytelling. Even if the story is so simple, it connects with the reader. All the character has their own personalities, and are apelling.

Really a great game overall

This thing is simply fabulous! The guy or guys who do this are little magicians. Do yourself a favor and try it, it's something that's equally new, original, and very well done. 5 stars straight up!!

It's just absurd how good this game is and so rare that a developer like this shows up.

Everything is original content that you won't see anywhere else or at least very unlikely.
Story is actually interesting even if we are talking about a porn game here.
Funny references that fits the time.
All unique animation style.
Interesting and different characters.
Actual animated cumshots and orgasms which is so rare but done so well.

I will definitely follow this project with great interest and my very insignificant gripe is there's no anal but hopefully in the future.

Overall just a 5/5 game that anyone should try.

Where have I been? Haha why did I just see this game? It's really cool. Just played it for the first time and the quality is 10/10. I haven't seen any promotions for this game yet. I just saw the F95 update, I'm so glad I found this game. Thank you for the development.
