Overview:

I see all these comments here, so I'm just give my own two cents,since not everyone is well versed with the Japanese types of porn exhibited.
The things are officially Visual novels ,and the adult variant are also called: Eroge(Erotic games), and usually comprise of a story, art, and voice acting and animation etc etc depending on the producer.
There are also sub categories for visual novels, and one of those is what we have here, called Nukige, which is basically straight up porn, the point of these is so you can pleasure yourself and be done with, these usually comprise of very little story and character focuses, but rather more focuses on the porn elements, so the characters will usually have voluptuous figures and alluring voices to help you with your business.
The censorship has been law since 1907( you can find this stuff from googling easily), and no one has been running around out in the streets demanding for the censorship to end, and it probably won't end in the foreseeable future( they have no reason to just change it since its been around so long). Complaining won't solve anything(especially on some random porn forum) ,you eventually shut up( stay long enough and get use to that its censored), or you leave( get tired of the censored Japanese porn and stay away from it).

I guess the reason for complaining about mosaics is that some companies like Mangagamer releases uncensored works but what most people dont realize is that for the most part the devs have no uncensored assets because they oftem dont consider localization and if they had uncensored assets they could get in legal troubles (Or not but better safe than sorry) so these uncensored localized companies hire someone to decensor the genitals, thats why you usually see the genitals clashing with the rest of the game art(For instance in Imopara 1 we lost an animated sex scene because the decensor artist couldnt work out the animation and so it was cut and just the stills remained). Cherry Kiss are small time devs so hiring someone to decensor might increase the budget by a lot or the devs themselves rather them not hire said decensoring artist to avoid legal issues in Japan (Again they might not but they arent taking any chances)

And the censorship laws will never get traction. Imagine being *that* politician to campaign for porn and represent pervert otakus. Cant think of a biggest political suicide.

Anyways hope the elf Miel game is next.

It could happen but not for quite awhile, thinking maybe 20 - 30 years. From the little I know of Japan's politics(not much at all) they are still pretty conservative thus trying to repeal it any time soon is not happening but maybe over the next couple decades that will shift.

As a side note you have to keep in mind Japan as a whole still is somewhat like they were before WW2, you will never overtly see it, but if you go looking you will find it. The cultural things that you hear about such as obnoxious work hours or the tropes/cliches you find in Japanese media they all still somewhat exist. Hell the few women that get pregnant while working a job have horror stories about being fired to having to deal with a shitty work environment( things like bosses still smoking in the room while talking to them). Things like this were part of Japan before WW2 ended and they still linger, I bring this up because the "old guard" so to say still hasn't been able to change some parts of the cultural to better reflect modern sensibilities yet so the porn censoring will take a long time to change.
