for me it just makes no sense that people should pay a subscription to have benefits in a game. If ur supporting the creator that's great and all , but in this case most people r paying for content. it should at least be a one time payment to get all the scenes going forward in the game and real supporters can keep their subscription. Apparently according to GFSEDERQ if you cant pay the subscription you loose ur perks that you paid for meaning you would have to keep paying to keep those perks which shouldn't be a thing.(FOR ANY GAME) This isn't Netflix.

Arguing or not, this dev is clearing $5-$6k a month and that was before he hid how many people are subbed to each tier on Subscribe Star. Probably much more now.
Doesn't account for Boosty or Itch either.

I've been on this forum for a long while now (even if I dont post all that often) and I have never ever seen a game monetizing their game like this. This is some mobile-tier rub-it-in-your-face monetizing. Jesus. This is fucked up.
Worse, this is outright predatory.
Edit: Okay I *can* think of an example that is just as bad: School Game by SlothsCommand, but as far as I can remember, I don't think they have quite went the length of plastering their monetization scheme at the top and center of the main menu. So I still feel liek cutting them some slack.

In the end its up to consumers if they pay for that sub to unlock content or not - If I would be the creator, I would be more than happy with such outcome and wouldn't bother with all the talk surrounding the topic, just cashing in since there are people willing to pay and focus on making new content so everything can keep flowing.

It's my choice to pay, same way as it's pirates' choice not to pay. One way or another the dev will keep doing what they were doing from day one, making more content for the players. At least I sleep fine knowing I'm putting in the money to keep the content flowing rather than complaining on a forum about how im trying to pirate the game and how dare the dev slow down my pirating efforts

The paywalling sucks, and it seems like a lot of effort is going more towards paywalling than the actual gameplay, but I understand since making a game is damn hard. Maybe I’m just a bum tho.
Also for a Naruto game like this, do you think 2D sprites in a 3D world is better or topdown 2D game like chrono triggers style is better? Assuming they have similar game mechanics.

I am not criticizing anyone it's just a fact I dc about this anyway investment is when u put money and effort to develop game clearly u don't know what that means and idk why only thsi forum ppl have problem to say that u don't know anything everyone know how to do it but no one has time and interest to develop a game use dictionary to cross check any word then reply and I am not criticizing dev or even mentioned him u really have to be quiet or argue with proper reply not rage baiting
