Well, graphics look very nice and seems there is going to be a lot to do, but the controls are very cumbersome to use and seem to be a combination of mouse and keyboard controls. Extremely confusing way to do anything but I can see what the creator was going for.
I will admit I didn't get very far into this (about 5 minutes of struggling with the controls and then not being able to find what I needed to even do anywhere).
A tutorial at the start of this might have helped, though I doubt it because even when I worked out how to move it was confusing.

Honestly one of best game I've played. The full sandbox mechanic, 100% dope story writing, sexy graphics look. With headphones and lighting dimmed, I felt as if I was in the party. There is even community-made custom stories in this game, and you can customize characters too!
Clearly a lot of work went into this. Sure, there is the issue of making a bad choice, and it may irreversible. It's kind of bummer having to use walk through, but it's only one bad thing and also there is auto-save so anyway.

I actually felt bad for not buying the game. So I'm planning to buy the next EEK Games's game, Office Party.

Gameplay:

So, it's a full 3D game, where you navigate around a house full of people and you interact with them, along with various objects. You can have conversations, and it implies many variables. To have access lewd scenes, you have to increase stats with a character, and also do various actions. You are guided with an opportunity (quest guide) system. The whole idea is pretty ambitious.

Story:
The game is rather complex as there is a lot of dialogues and things happening. Each character has its story, usually related to other characters. It's quite lively, and you are in some kind of detective to get hints and solve various things. Stories are rather silly, and it's pretty funny.

Graphics/Animation:
Everything is in a 3D engine, so there are no beautiful renderings. Lewd scenes are quite crude, and rather simple. It's not bad, but it's not great either.

Sound/Music
Outside the background music, every character has a full set of dialogue. So, it's very impressive and it's probably the greatest thing in this game.

Overall impression:
The premise of the game feels quite interesting, going to a party and try to score. The environment is pretty good, but it's a bit confusing at first to navigate around. It's really sandbox, and you try some things. But the big problem is the locking system. Do a tiny mistake, and you won't be able to reach an end of a story. And as some routes are really complex, doing this game without guide can be a huge headache.
I'll put an example. I was trying the Ashley route, so I did follow a guide. Everything was fine, stats were at the highest, but I just did an answer wrong at the very beginning of the route (about Derek), which forbidden him to talk to me automatically at the end and so locked me out.

You can indeed "do what you want" just to see how most stories lock you out. I'm not talking about how behaving like a hooligan will predictably make some characters abhor you, but rather how you *must* follow a strict timeline of things to say and do to advance the story and "have fun".

A frustratingly clunky talking-to-people simulator at times, but mostly a dull unrewarding grind to do exactly the thing to get rewarded. Not fun.

Very fun game with good scenes and hot characters. The thing that made me like this game so much was the characters, they're so fun and different from each other and the voice acting is SO good, i'm a big fan of voice acting and the VAs of this game did not disappoint, all of them, great job.

Only reason to not be 5 stars it's because it's literally impossible to play this without the guide. The things you have to do in order to get to some scenes are so insanely specific and weird that i would never would've guessed alone. I managed to get one single scene alone, and was like, the easiest one.

The game run's stable, is of decent graphics and seems to be of overall better quality.

Except for the main part; sexual content.

The general game reminds me of my own childhood, about 30 years ago.

It feels like the old Leisure Suit Larry, but the very old one, from 1987.
Were you've been just running around in a very small area trying to figure out, how to get into a girls pants.

But sadly, in a quite boring kind of way.

The characters seem bland, story is uninteresting and it takes a darn lot of point-and-click puzzle work, to finally get a sex scene.
So what's the point?
Bad writing, boring story and takes forever for some naughty stuff?

Don't waste your time, unless you're fifteen years old, and have no access to the internet but just a hardcopy of this game.

By far one of the worst NSFW games I've ever played. The game is about a party, but it doesn't really feel like one, because Devs thought it would be cool to have you spend the whole game solving unintuitive and annoying tasks for NPC's to have some H-scenes.

3d game that suffers from a 9 year long development. Many players started playing it as teenagers and are now adults with families. Definitely too much. The graphics today are absolutely old and should be completely redone. The mechanics are fun and not easy to solve, I had fun even if I remember it little today, to be honest. Sufficient overall rating but I advise all developers not to start projects that they are not able to finish.

• Badly optimized, runs horribly no matter the settings, long loading time.
• Routes are bugged to hell, constantly requiring console commands to fix broken flags.
• Bloated dialogues that add nothing to the atmosphere or personality you have to slog through.
• Sandbox is a mess, easy to lock yourself out of content , unplayable without following a walkthrough.
• Animations look very stiff and clunky, the game has been in development for a long time but even excusing its dated-ness you would expect there be more quality/polish to it after so long.

This is a classic that I have to give 5 stars, but as others have said the game has many large flaws. Still, I admire the ambition and care behind it and think it's sad that 8 years or whatever after its release there are basically no other games like it.

At its core the game is a 3D realtime sandbox adventure. I don't know how much of the engine was built just for this game but it's the core that I wish could be reused and iterated on (rather than just having minor content patches released into this game.) Things are still clunky, the characters have the IQ of Sims characters, but it works.

The biggest prolem, however, is the adventure aspect. The game is too much King's Quest and not enough Monkey Island - that it, it is unintuitive and unforgiving, and there are many branching paths that you can lock yourself out of or fail to navigate. And in the 2020s this means that people will just use walkthroughs rather than explore the game organically, because exploring organically means you will unexpectedly miss opportunities and fuck up your run.

Probably the game was originally designed to be highly replayable, where you would have some short questlines and dynamics and you'd just start over if you messed anything up. But over time things bloated and the gameplay itself became clunky and so everyone just started using guides. A shame, because it means you just click through stuff without thinking.

The writing is pretty good. The characters are okay. The sex scenes are meh. There's not enough of them - it seems like the various plotlines should keep going and lead to additional corruption, but they don't.

The sandbox was made, partially filled, and then shipped (with zero actual endings!) Okay. Please someone try again and do better.

Last time I played this game, I've spent hours to see just one pair of titties, and that's it. Seriously, it's easier to get to a party and get some pussy there in real life than in this game. Why in the world devs thought it's a brilliant idea to make their game so ridiculously complicated so it's basically impossible to play through it without a guide? Come on man, finding all the secrets in Dark Souls is easier than getting laid in this trash.
But what about the smut part? Is it worth the pain? Absolutely not. 3D models from 2003 or something, cheap ass crappy animations, laughably bad body physics. Just go install some porn mods on Sims 4 and you'll get better experience with the same (or even better) graphics.

Pretty funny game, so much options and characthers, awesome atmosphere, you can enjoy the game for days, exploring every path.
The characthers are very diverse and good looking, but the sex scenes are very bland.

House party, is one of kind game, it should be considered a masterpiece in terms of social interacting. But a emphays on "should", as good as this games is there are so flaws that makes it almost a peferct game. To sustain my point, I will divide the review in 2 main points:
NSFW Aspect and Non-NSFW aspect

NSFW Aspect:
It has a way that cativates you to achive the so desired moment of intamacy, and in its contex a party occuring in a unknow house and you was invited through a friend of your, form arriving you see varios figures, each having a unique story andpersonality. Every aspect of the chararcter affects its way that you seduce them and makes the felling of the H-scene diferent, form you banging the hot young sister to the self asured nerd.
In technical terms the aspect of the h-scene is very good also, from you being able to either watch a cutscene of the moment of chose to control the scene during as the MC POV.

Non-NSFW Aspect:
The gameplay for itself can be monotome, you just do request and interact with the people of the party, butI found out that it can be very fun to talk to the NPC, know them and their likes/dislikes.
What really makes this game almost perfect is that many of the characters have a route of their own and the action you do can both unlock a route or lock them, thus made me several times having to see the wiki/walkthrough to achive the desired result, making some of my 'runs' in the game boring due to having to follow a specific course of actions.

Conclusion:
This game is a must play from my point of view, as though it lacks som e of ramdom choices/events it obviusly doesn't make the game unplayable, you will definately spend a lot of time here and enjoy all of it, form both gameplay to h-scene

This is a tough one. Love it and/or hate it.

Concept is 5/5. It really is an excellent themed game with a good story. A party where you can just interact with whatever girls or stuff you want, at your own pace. The other concept that makes this game shine for me, is Character Customization! This is huge. Countless times I've wanted to change girls in avn's for various reasons.. Don't like dark/light skin? change it. Want green skin? Can change hair and clothing. Breast and butt size too small or big? change it! Awesome.
More games should have options for changing the girls. I don't want thicc or fat or old or ugly or flat chicks.. Why not let people customize the LI's so Everyone can enjoy your AVN, instead of trying to satisfy too many fetishes, making it unsatisfying for those without the fetishes...? This game gets an award from me for going the extra mile on this, and having hot girls to start with.
Girls - 5/5 - Every girl is hot, and if you don't like something, you can customize her! Perfect.

Graphics - 5/6 - I say out of 6 because there's newer graphics that can produce better models, but this game didn't have those, and still the graphics are way better than most avns, even ones that use newer software.

Lewdity - 4.5/5 - This also depends on the person. Some people need more sex, while others are good with more of the teasing bits of nudity. Personally, I loved the way this was done. If you give too much, it's not exciting or desirable. Sex is there, its just after you've gone through some story with the girl. I'm much more into the build-up and the teasing/voyeur/accidental/partial nudity that this game gives, plus the build-up to the sex scenes.

Gameplay .... 3.5/5 This is where it's tough for everyone. For some, this is 5/5, and others its 0/5, depending on your threshold for figuring it all out or using a WT.
The effort for the gameplay is 5/5 though. The issue is personal preference for the complexity, and lack of guided experience.

It can be cool and fun if you're one that likes to figure it all out. But it's also not very intuitive or quick for those that are somewhere in the middle; and it's especially not easy for those disinclined to this kind of thing and just want to progress without thinking too much.
To make the most of this avn, you'll need a good WT. The one linked here is good. But this is also time-consuming, and you have to constantly check it.
The game is made so that you can have multiple play-thrus with different experiences. But I'm the kind of person that wants to do it all in one go, so I needed a WT. This got old after a while and I dropped the game for a long time... But recently picked it back up because this game is like no other, even years later...
It really is a gem. That's why I don't want to give it a bad rating. We need more games like this. Just updated and with a good clue system or in-game WT.

I hope we see more games like this in the future. So instead of complaining so much that it was too hard and giving bad ratings, lets compliment the good, and ask for improvements.

Overly complicated and mostly boring. Plus the animations and character models aren't great, feels like I could just have the same experience with a modded Sims 4 game.

Additionally, the game's performance is terrible. Like the loading screens take forever and the game lags, even on potato quality. For what is essentially a 3D VN, there's no reason for it to be this performance heavy.

Lastly, more girls than guys by a large margin.

I played this game near 4-5 hour and i cant see even 1 sex scence. This just fkin adult game and its so complicated for it. Its taking too much time. If you have so much trash time, you can play. At least i didnt give my money

This game is one of the few 3D porn games out there (the only one I've tried), and it's real-time 3D—not just static renders from a program. But because of that, the graphics aren't as good as pre-rendered games. They have to keep it simple with textures and polygons to run smoothly, so it's not fair to compare it to those games. You should think of it more like other first-person 3D games from the same time period, like shooters or exploration games, and I think House Party holds up pretty well in that comparison.

If you're looking for something just to get off to, you might prefer the pre-rendered games with better scenes. This one isn't as great in that department and lacks variety. But if you want a game that's fun and different, kind of like Leisure Suit Larry (hope it's okay I mentioned that), then this could be a good pick. It's got a funny story and it's enjoyable to play.

So why would I give it 5 stars? First, because it's unique. Second, because it's not just a funny story—it's actually fun to play as a game. If I was rating it purely for getting off, it'd be more like 3 stars, considering it's an indie game with a small budget, especially for its time.

I would say it’s unique in its gameplay. Super replayable. They add content constantly. It’s not just about sex, it has funny and crazy situations. I would say it’s a game that you must try of this kind. The only thing I could reproach it for is the bad Spanish translation, but hey, at least it exists, and I didn’t take the trouble to search, but surely there are patches with better translations than the official one.
