I know about Ren'Py but what I'm interested in is how the images are made. I heard that they create the scenes in programs like Koikatsu. Is that true or is it just the characters and then the scenes are made with Unity? I also noticed that their maps (where you select a location to travel to) are similar. Is it a coincidence or did they use the same program to make them? Harem Hotel is made the same way except with Honey Select, right? Has anyone made a guide on creating games like this?
