can somebody explain how to create images like used in the game Fountain of Mana by Nerion?
Is there any tool available to generate multiple images of a same body or do you think that Nerion created all images manually with some art tool like Photoshop or Gimp?

If yes, do you know of any guides how to create those images manually?

That game is using traced-over koikatsu. Beyond that, they're just transparent PNGs.
