I imagine most of them don't commission voice actors for moans and stuff. For sounds like the characteristic cum splurt, or moaning, BJ etc. For moans and BJ sounds they could just take porn clips with good sound quality and cut that into the game. But you can't do that for the splurt sounds for example. I'm curious what the norm seems to be.

Getting from soundtrack is hard, and usually sounds bad in games. I purchased a couple of sound libraries (link to bundle below) a few years ago that have pretty much all the sounds you will need:

In fairness I think "the norm" is to not include any sex sounds at all.
It's especially hard in an AVN, where each player has a different reading speed and so it becomes much harder to link sounds together with a mix of looped and non-looped sound clips.
With so many examples of cringeworthy sound use, it's often better to leave things to the player's imagination.

I generally agree, but I wanted to give it a try and see what it feels like before deciding. In some cases, adding sounds or appropriate music adds to the sense of polish or production quality.
yes, important point. Sometimes you simply don’t want to use sfx. I think they improve the game if used carefully. Generally I use on animation loops and ‘climactic’ events. Works for me, but I don’t use ren’py and have a lot of control over exactly when sounds are fired etc.
