How do I add patches and mods to a game?

So, I never did this stuff before, but there are some games saying there is an uncensor patch and mods to be added, and I wanted to know how do I add this to game. I mean, after I install it, where should I put the mod/patch?

Or, since he talk about incest/uncensoring patches, I guess that a search on the game thread should also provide the answer.

If yall take the time to respond why not just give an actual answer. If how to correctly instal these mods and patches were put into the threads in a place that was reasonable easy to find, he wouldn't have asked and others, myself included, wouldn't be searching for answers to that same question on here. Its "respected users" like you two that make people not want to ask questions on these forums.

In general - patches and mods go into the game directory for the installed game.

Because there's no actual answer.

You don't install a patch for a Ren'Py game the same way than you install a patch for a Unity or RPG Maker game. And even when it come to the same game engine, not all have to be installed the same way.
Therefore, without knowing the game, nor even the game engine, it's just impossible to give another answer that the ones gave.

if find a patch that is literaly just a code, no name, no instrution, it dosen't have a download, is justa a block code
