I want to delete my old review of a game and post a new one, but it seems I don't have such rights, as there's no delete button anywhere. How do I solve that?
Yeah, I know that. But it's completely pointless since the review date will stay the same and the review will not become the latest one. It makes sense with low popularity or low production speed games, but when your review is on page 5 and your opinion changed significantly, you've got to have the ability to delete the review and make a new one...
To me it sounds pointless to wanting to appear first, but if a moderator agrees with you, they can delete your review. Just report it and explain you want to rewrite it. You can't delete reviews yourself.

If you are inclined to do so, just report your review to have it deleted and post a new one.
Do you want your review to appear on the first page to get more traction/visibility with other users? Is that the reason?
Well regardless, editing your existing review would be the immediate option, but since you prefer to delete it and post an updated review, feel free to report and delete your existing outdated review assuming you haven't done so already.
P.S. A Quick tip I found useful when reviewing games on the Zone is to leave the [Version Number] of the game you are reviewing to notify others/remind yourself at what point in the game's versioning/dev history you reviewed their game.
As has been already stated -- unless it is for vanity reasons why you want your review to appear on the first page and simply want to have an updated review showing a new date ---
----------------------------
Hide the old review in a spoiler dated the original date and then simply write the new review below it with the new date listed. Also, it gives your updated review more credibility by showing how your opinion is confirmed/changed over time.
Updated Review 28 Nov 2024 for v0.09.2:
Nova Dawn, unfortunately, continues to disappoint. While our previous review highlighted its potential, the game's recent updates have failed to address core issues. The open world remains largely empty, and combat still lacks depth. Technical problems, such as frequent crashes and long loading times, persist, further tarnishing the experience. Despite its stunning visuals, Nova Dawn's lack of substance and numerous performance issues make it a difficult game to recommend.
