How do I edit dialogue?

I'm playing Alvein, an RPGM, and it suddenly started using a word that I can't stand. I'd like to be able to remove this word from my copy of the game. Is there an easy way to do this? I'm a novice when it comes to editing, so hopefully there are simple directions that I can follow.

you need to have rpg maker _ _ for it to change anything like line or by editing the json inside the data folder

for editing the json file you need to know which map number that dialogue is in or it might be in common events

Damn. I was hoping it would be as easy as opening up a file, using Ctrl + F, and finding them all. So if I want to do this, then I'm going to have to do some major searching. Is that right? Also, what is "_ _?" Is that you leaving a blank until you can find the rest of the name or something?

using Ctrl + F

you still can use that but just for the map
