personally thx to this site i saved hundreds of dollars, game which have a good presentation but then fall flat about hotness or gameplay

still i buy games that i enjoy a lot just to share my support to the devs and hoping they will make something good again, example of this is the new

different is the reasoning about patreon support,i cant find a good reason to waste hundreds of dollar yearly just to get 2-3 updates if all good

You should own the game permanently if you pay for it, paying monthly for an offline game which gets update once every 3 months just to see 100 words and 5 pictures added is such a waste of money.

I feel very very very good about piracy when it comes to adult games.
No way I will pay $5 for 6 months, and get 200 crappy daz renders.

But I support a few animators/artist because they are unique and have a same taste with me in their art.

a pirate would not buy a copy .
a pirate who would buy a copy will find his way to support the dev if he wishes to do so.
if a piracy is more convinient than aquiring your product you have a bad product and should not blame the piracy.

Thats coming from a developer ( and a pirate) ;).

From my perspective, I've been a part of things like F95 for years. I'd have to be a massive hypocrite to complain about piracy now, just because it's my shit being pirated. Keep sailing the high seas!

While I do download off this site as these 4-5 months I've gotten more enjoyment from these games than AAA games. I do feel guilty for doing it at the same time. I will buy games if they are on steam during a sale as I try to save as much as I can. While yes I could just sub to their patron as I play their games for a month but I feel id be spending to much money if I did that. So for me patron is for games that feel special to me otherwise steam. Might be a hypocritical to only sub to those games that feel special but I feel like I need to be picky be different if I had tons of money to spend each month.

OMFG Leisure Suit Larry have a grandson !

Seriously, this is your idea of a "good adult game", a 90's idea with finally obvious sex in it ?

I feel pretty good overall.

Been following a simple philosophy all these years:
-If a game includes an intrusive DRM that screw people that bought the game more than pirates, It deserves to be pirated
-Indie devs deserve a chance - If I like a game from an indie dev, I´ll buy it
-If it turns out to be a low-effort cash grab, It deserves to be pirated to death
-If it is overpriced, ï´ll go yar-yar till its on sale, if in the end I dont like it I wont buy it.

Overall enjoyment is key in all this - You like what a dev has done and you would like to support his/her new project with your hard earned shekels?, why not?, I mean, there´s people who actually supported a guy who wanted to do a potato salad with thousands of dollars, supporting someone that actually needs support and getting something in return is a damn good deal to me.

Well, i know that piracy ins't exactly a good thing and for that reason i buy things when i can. But, and this is a big but, piracy exists because it is a workaround people found to enjoy some content that might be blocked on their countries, sometimes content that they can't afford due abbusive prices or the simple lack of cash, or maybe another thousand reasons i may be forgetting here. It is a consequence.

Don't personally like to reveal facts about myself outside of my persona here but, in my case for example as someone who lives in Brazil i couldn't buy Football Manager even if i wanted, it is blocked in my country despite soccer being a national passion here, because the clubs and soccer players refused to give the game rights to use their brand. So, if i want to play that game there are some means to get it, but the most viable is the piracy.
Another fact you face in a country like mine is that games come here incredibly expensive when they are "new", for an instance RE 4 (The new one) costs today R$249 which represents 1/5 of the total value of what is the minimum wage here, which is R$1300. So, in theory it is affordable, but in reality and with all bills to pay it becomes something that sometimes becomes unbearable.

Sometimes piracy also helps to preserve stuff that are lost in the copyright limbo or ins't even produced or even sold anymore like the case of many retro games and old systems.

So yeah, it ins't a good thing. Not here to deny the law or the copyright policy. But sometimes its the way people find to play their favorite games, read a book or watch their tv shows, even if it ins't a good thing when you look closely at the circumstances it may become more understandable.

People who pirate shit are typically not people who would pay for it if they couldn't get it free.
If I can't find a game for free, I'm not playing it. It's as simple as that.

I've never spent a penny on porn in my life. I'm sure as hell not starting today.

Since most developers (large-scale) don't put out demos these days, and since licensing issues make certain games nigh impossible to get, I'm not gonna start moralizing about it now. H-games especially make discussions with your bank incredibly awkward.

I am sure %99 percent of the adult game devs using pirated daz content.
Most of the time the devs claiming they have a cheap/bad setup while they have +5000$ daz assets
