How do you follow the development of games / get notified if there's an update

Games that are updated don't appear in the front pages of the given genres (which makes sense) but I also don't know how I'm supposed to follow games I'm interested in without filing through, sometimes, a dozen pages.
Help?

use "watch thread" option. Whenever the game is updated, there will be influx of posting on the thread, with that you can be sure the game has been updated
