how do you play vr games on Quest 3 with virtual desktop???

all of the info i find on google seems outdated or scarce. any VR game i download on here and launch on the Quest just gets launched as if im playing a 2d game on a flat monitor screen. ive tried adding the games to steam but the same thing happens. please help

I would like to know this too, looks like an old post sadly. If you figured it out I would like to know. I recently got Meta Quest 3 and want to play some of the VR games on F95Zone.

Afaik, add the game launcher to the steam library -> enable said game in VR in the game settings/properties -> open steam VR (using your VR device) -> launch game
This tend to works for VR games in general, but some games require some tinkering, in which case you should contact the devs for support

Does it show what game I'm playing on steam though. You did tell me this in another post. It does sound like it would work, I just don't want my friends to see I'm playing some VR "adult" game lol.

Easiest solution would be to make an Alt-Account for your adult games.

you could show yourself as offline in the friends tab, but I don’t know if your recent activities will be displayed when you switch back to online.

OP here, i was able to figure it out. normally just adding them to steam as a non steam game and launching with VD worked. it just so happened that the few games i tried on this site before making this post was an issue on the games end and not my end. potentially just outdated and not optimized for the quest 3

i dont remember all of the games i had this issue with but VR Konojo was one of them. it was tricky to get the game to launch in VR but once i did there was issues with the camera and controls

Just made another steam account and added the games through "non-steam games" and just launched them in Steam VR and worked.
