Review for Chapter 9.

This game is wildly overrated.

PROS

• The renders and character models are solid
• The fantasy world side of the story has some intriguing elements

CONS

• The “real” world side of the story is boring as hell and takes up far too much of the game time. Given that the most recent updates are back in the real world, it doesn’t look like we can escape the boring elements of the story moving forward.
• The game has multiple forced sexual encounters/love interests, including forced incest. I have no issue with incest as a kink but am endlessly frustrated with games that force me into relationships or sexual encounters. If your game is not a kinetic novel, and the scene is not a prologue or flashback, then give me the choice regarding every relationship. This complaint leads into the third (and largest) drawback to this game…
• This game is completely kinetic through the first 3 chapters. So the first 1/3 of the game is entirely on rails. The dev began including a few choices in chapter 4, unfortunately most of the choices in chapters 4-9 are meaningless. There are several exposition dumps that occur in conversations. During these conversations you can click through multiple questions to receive some additional background information, or just skip through them. None of the questions you can ask appear to have any meaningful impact on the story or the other characters. Other choices are just as meaningless. There are a couple minor characters you can choose to interact with or reject, as well as multiple forced sex scenes that you have to stop and click through. There is also a forced sex scene with your “sister”, which was especially galling given that you are presented with an earlier option to reject her. Even if you choose rejection you are forced to hook up with her.

Bottom line, this game has decent renders and half of the story shows some promise. However, it is brought down by the real world side of the story and the complete illusion of choice through 9 chapters. It really feels like the dev just wanted to dodge the KN tag, so they slapped some worthless choices in the game and called it a day.

This is a nice game, or really a nice VM. There's not a lot of choices, most seem to filter content or ask you preferences, and that's fine you just progress the story.

Story is fine, good actually, no pulitzer prize material but that's not what we are here for. It's quite well written, good pacing interesting twists and for me it was an enjoyable journey.

Renders are really good, not the best I have ever seen, but they are really nice on the eyes.

So all in all, I really had fun and can't wait to see the next chapters.

HIBAH is more a kinetic novel then it might appear with the only choices really being about if you want a certain character to be repeated later in the game. However there are some really neat touches. Such as the female figures in the 'real' world are much more realistic while those in the 'fantasy' world are much more fantastical. It's a nice detail.

I was starting to get a bit bored just reading the story (It's not a bad story) until Shalana came along, really hoping we can get more then a blowjob from her in the future. And then Priestess Zamna.. playing throughis worth it just for the whole scene with her and she'd another character I hope gets a lot more time with the MC.

And last but not least the most recent chapter at this time has a scene with a girl in the 'real' world who's casually wearing a buttplug that the MC plays with. Rather rare content it seems and a treat.

Average Isekai story but but the MC is charismatic enough. I also cared about the history more than I thought I would. Sympathized with the MC struggles. The models are fine, except for the cow woman that I thought was weird with both human breasts and cow udders. Weirdest design for a furry character I have seen for sure.

I love the story of this game, but from chap 1 to chap 3 there's no choice and make me kinda boring, im almost dissappoint and want to delete the game. But from chap 4 it's starting to make interesting because there's a choice.. you know what i need 4 days for playing this game, one chapter a day.. because i thought there's no choice in this game it's make me boring don't wanna continue. Usually i play the game like this (obviously there a choice) i just need one day to finish it even for long version or complete version or long chapter.. keep it up brother

So I feel like I kinda like this maybe more than I should.
I mean. The writing ain't great - especially earlier on.
It does get somewhat better as it progresses, it eventually reaches a point where I'd say it were good enough but I can't lie, there were times I considered quitting. I'm glad I didn't though. Despite the ups and downs, the narrative was decent enough and the characters likeable enough for it to get its hooks into me.

Its past as a sandbox style game is all too evident in the way it presents its narrative though, at least in the earlier chapters. As I generally dislike that style of game I'm happy enough that they removed the guts, but they could've added meaningful, transitionary writing and dialogue but instead you kinda bounce around between quests without much fanfare. Just feel like there could have been more done to disguise the fact that at certain points, it's very obvious where you'd be clicking around a map or some shit.

Anyway.

Visuals are good. Like the renders / models and the animations are mostly okay.

Audio is, as is typical, a non-factor. It exists. But it ain't great.

All in all, I liked my time with the game and I am keen to play future chapters.

the writing is fairly good. can think of other ways to deliver this same plot with more edge for the adult market rather than teen, but it does the job.

there are a few games on this site i have read/played that i remember after going to sleep. can't say this will be one of them. here's why...

the design. this starts out as a visual novel. you will go several chapters of kinetic reading before options start to appear. choices are there to filter content.....except it then gets turned into a clicker game. why?

The overall game deserves a five star rating.
The story is so interesting that it's worth giving up fast forward and watching.
The pictures are beautiful, especially the muscular girls, which amazed me. There is a clear sense that the author is serious about his work.
The early stages of the game were a little slow, and the lack of sex was annoying.
But now the game is on track. If you chose the experience after reading my review. You can play with confidence.

I played through Ch. 8 of this isekai in a couple of evenings.

The MC travels back and forth between the modern world and your standard boiler-plate magical fantasy setting, complete with elves (straight, gay & Africanized), dwarves, giants, orcs, goblins and a couple types of animal-hybrids (cat girls!).

It is common to see AVNs written at a young-adult level. This work is unusual in that it feels more like something intended for children. I would estimate the reading level at around ages 9-12. While some authors can write juveniles that are equally enjoyable by adults, I don’t think this qualifies: I found myself taken out of the story by numerous little plot holes that might have gone unnoticed by a child.

This is not for people who dislike kinetic novels: there are only a handful of choices on offer, mostly aimed at allowing the player to avoid some fetish content.

I am not certain who to recommend this to. Semi-literate adults who just want to see some sexy elves? Parents who want to introduce a precocious pre-teen to the world of kinky sex without letting them get it straight from PornHub?

Overall the game looks good, has some sexy scenes, and is quite palatable if one is sufficiently lubricated when they play it.

Must recommended. Seeing MC's face one would say it's a weak ass MC but as of ch8 the MC may look weak but he is written very good and of course not the strongest but the story isn't finished so!
Renders and animations are osm with variety of girls to choose from and the writing is so good that you will feel connected to the story and not just with the MC but with other characters too.

Why?

Well, a lot of naked women are running around, but my wiener never seems to locate a vagina. I think my ugly sister touched my wiener once. Then I got sent to a fantasy world where one of the main LIs is an elven version of my ugly sister. There is a cute town slut that jacks me off once or twice, but as of Chapter 5, I haven't stuck it to one vagina. So, I guess I am in this novel for the novel rather than the lewd. I'll just go read Dune or some shit if that is what is happening.

Since the time it was released, the dev put very little sexual content. For the first few chapters, its like the dev forgot entirely that he was making a sex game.
However, the story is nice and the dev has a very good taste with curvy models. I loved them. The problem is he introduced many delicious characters then left them without any sexual interaction. So, if you are easily bored and looking for a quick hook up, this game is not for you.

Truly a masterpiece. Brilliant story, lots of amazing characters, nice models/renders, very good sex scenes. I loved every second of this game and I think it has great potential as well. One of the greatest games on this site.

Absolutely wild that we have to wait until Chapter 4 before making a decision. Halfway through Chapter 1 I started auto-skipping just to see when we'd be presented with any choices to make - what's the point?

Decent animations and good story. We rarely get any isekai style games, but it's refreshing to see one after a long time . The animated sex scenes could be better as it feels like the same scenes are being reused. Overall engaging story and play-worthy

My god it's actually good.

I don't mean to sound like that's such a surprising thing, but I'll admint going into it my expectations were low but really, it's nice. It's like a cinnamon bum type of game.

Well, I say game.... it's not a game. It's very much a VN, there's little to no choices here but that doesn't detract from the story. It's actually pretty engaging.

So the idea is you're a random dude just living your best life, and you're blind. That's... pretty unique, I don't recall many games where you're impaired in such a manner. Your best mate gets an amulet, gives it to you and you end up in Narnia.

I think the only issue I really have right now is the intro is overly complicated. There's a lot of time spent in the "real" world before you get sucked into Phandalin and I'm really left wondering why. Even on the OP, the list of women shown includes some who you see for maybe a scene. Now I assume you go back eventually but really given the majority of the game is set in Hyrule it feels weird. But as a set up it makes sense but given the MC gets his sight back it's an odd point. Would the game have been worse if the MC could see before being transported?

The game itself is good in all aspects. As I mentioned it's very happy happy, there's little going on in terms of angst or drama. Big Saviour MC complex going on and that's fine. It can be boring but really the supporting cast are all interesting and the dev should be applauded for taking the time to make it interesting. It does fall into that pitfall of having random sex scenes that may not be required. I get the need to keep the player interested but the story's kinda interesting on its own accord.

A surprise hit I'd say, and definitely worth your time.

Fact: bears eat beets. Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica. While some may find this debatable, what isn't debatable is the fact: How I Became a Hero is a porn game created by Naughty tales studios. And here another fact:

A porn game has no business being this good. Evey LI is either incredibly sexy or incredibly cute and in a few cases, both. Most importantly though, the LIs are so damn lovable in their own ways. Honestly, this doesn't apply to only the girls either, even the male-friend characters are awesome. NTS better have Rasu drowning in pussy by the end of this because that boy is a real one! Heck, even the MC is a lovable little bastard that you can't help but root for. Dev knocked it out of the park with these characters, so well done.


Oh but wait, there's more; if you click the download button in the next 10 mins, I'll also throw in the fact that the plot SLAPS! As soon as you are thrown into this new world, you feel something isn't quite right but that feeling never takes center stage. The plot is happening in the background, and certain characters have varying degrees of awareness to this. The best part is that you aren't dicked around by characters going, "oh, you are not yet ready to know the whole truth because it puts your life in danger..somehow that has nothing to do with shitty writing."

Being really tired of all the harem games here, I almost passed on this. It's awfully close to the standard formula in many ways.

Thankfully I didn't, since this game has charm where others don't. Don't get me wrong, it's still a pretty vanilla harem story. It's tame in all things. There's no tension, there's no surprise. At all.

But it still succeeds due to some empathic writing, a decent protagonist and interesting love interests.

So, this one's decent. Go try it.

There's one thing that really bothers me though: The art of the cow girl is... stupid. Anatomically, the dev should probably look up the biological function of breasts. Having breasts as well as these... udders is just weird.

This is a brilliant little fantasy tale. English isn't always on point but the story and graphics are good, it's a nice change. Loving the dwarf and his mother, hoping something will happen there too. Well, all the characters have potential. It's different to all the other games available and now I can't wait for the next episode. Keep it up Dev!!!
