How many people are only willing to play games on their phone?

How do you play your adult games?

So, I've been working on a game for a bit now. It's kind of a dating sim version of Disco Elysium (it's better than it sounds lol)

I was playing with the idea of having two separate versions ... A full version that's meant to be played on a PC and a slimmed down version that would be mobile friendly.
The problem is that I really underestimated how much work would go into that. It's making every step in the development take practically twice as long (I'm not very well versed on mobile game making, so it's been a learning experience at least)

So, my question is this:
How many people ONLY play these types of games on their phones?

PC only and a very limited amount of eroge (or games at all), though considering how expensive (quality-price-wise) rigs and rig components are those days (including their lifespan and that's when properly used and maintained) and how cheap some decent Android smartphones can be, I'm willing to change my mindset.

Have yet to find a phone with 256GB RAM and a great CPU+GPU combo though. Not like I'd ever play anything that requires more than 1GB of RAM as I'm a 2D old-school, old, jaded and grumpy user not really into gaming anymore, and hooking it up to a screen is kind of a chore when you can just get a laptop with decent cooling.

Edit: Forgot some of the broken games in the zone that I ended up playtesting.

Personally, I only play on my PC. I just always see other devs going out of their way to have an Android/iOS version of their games and it made me think maybe there was a huge market for it .. maybe (hopefully) i was wrong :]

Most engines have that feature prebuilt but it does require extra testing work (as well as compatibility, see recurring joiPlay issues - as well as dedicated modding threads - for mobile/web Android versions).

iOS (Apple products in general, but the operating system itself) is complete garbage for end-user playtesting unless you jailbreak it, and with Apple going out of its way to have any and all features removed from user access or forcing developers to fake latest version requirements lest their version be banned from the App Store so they can sell more copies of this week's iPhone/iPad, I don't even know how awful the situation is right now.

I play only on PC and seeing most major games not having a mobile version I'd say you forget about mobile for now and maybe work on it if there's enough demand or in your next game when you're more experienced

My problem is that in order to get it to run on most phones, I have to completely redo almost every asset. It's a 3D game compared to a 2D Renpy VN or something .. I'm currently using Unity's HDRP so I can import CC3 characters and I can't imagine that would run very well on most phones
