How much improvment in AI and physics can we realistically expect from new gen consoles?

AAA developers have basically been using the same CPU budget for ten years. Pretty much all the major breakthroughs in game AI and physics even in PC happened before PS4 and XBOne. PS5 and XBSeX finally got the CPU upgrade that skipped the console midterm refreshes that could see performance boost of 4-8x depending on which article.

2022 is the first year we see real exclusive PS5/XBSeX launches and I am curious of what kind of improvements developers are now able to do with the new CPU budget specifically in franchise games like Skyrim-in-Space-aka-Starfield that they could not do before.

Please be realistic and not turn this into a wishful thinking thread.

Very little innovation happens from console to console nowadays. Innovation in graphics comes from nvidia, amd and game engine developers working along with them.
