basically the title ... i moved to europe just recently and i know piracy is a big no no here and i could get fined for pirating ... so i was wondering if i could download games from here or not ?? stuff like house party or BADIK are on steam already so dunno if i will get fined for downloading that from here. i would very much rather pay for stuff to support the devs but currently steam wont let me hide games i play and i would have to hide all my game activity from discord as well (i care about these things a lot)

You can always create another steam account exclusively for adult games.
there are a bunch of reasons why i cant do this since i live with my brother and he sometimes he uses this PC for games and whatnot ... i keep the files on a separate external hard drive ... among other reasons suffice it to say i cant really do all that right now till my living arrangement changes in a few months

Europe is not one unified state and even within European Union member states have different laws regarding copyright. There are countries where its completly legal to download stuff for personal use however it changes once you start to share.

Pretty sure adult game developers rely on free venues of distribution to get more players that could potentially sub to their Patreon/SS etc to keep suporting their ongoing projects. Especially one as big as F95. Primarily since these are not one off complete releases like a movie or a full game that would not benefit more from allowing piracy.(Movies mainly)

It's fine. Just download the games and keep them on your external HD. No one will care. If you want to support the devs, sign up on their Patreon/SubscribeStar. Then you can download the game from them directly too if you want, instead of pirating it here.

Is this some kind of a social experiment? i've read that exact question at least 3-4 times in the last 6 months, you just made me curios because of starting with the european union instead of directly start with Germany.

But to answer your question. The digital infrastructure is ridiculous bad in germany, the law enforcement has no ressources to monitor anything. There are some "lawyers" who try to sue you, if you download copyrighted stuff unprotected via torrent, but their letters are to ignore, they just hope that someone is stupid enough to bite the bait and pay them. So no, downloading something in germany is a piece of cake and as long as you don't get telled on, nobody will mind.

lol not at all ... just didnt want to share details about my location at first and then i thought why the fuck not ... it was really unintentional ... and im not an immigrant i came here with a job offer at a decent hospital and they offered a really nice salary which was way better than what my country actually pays mostly because i speak 3 other languages and they need someone like that to deal with immigrants who dont speak german ... i am also required to get a german language proficiency up to c1 which im doing right now :p

Good luck with it! Hope you enjoy your new home and job!

Honestly I wasn’t really serious about that. It just poked me out of curiosity.

But back to topic: You really don’t have to worry about games you download from f95 or other sources. The internet is still #Neuland (ex-Chancellor Merkel) in good ol‘ Germany.

How would the authorities monitor what you download? There is no easy way of tracking downloads from one click hosters (OCH), if you use them there is no file sharing. No uploading. And people always get in trouble for the "sharing" and "uploading", not the "downloading" really.

Only possible ways for any law enforcement anywhere on the planet to find out what you download are:

1. the one click hoster logs IPs and stores them indefinitely, said one click hoster then gets raided and the police will also investigate downloaders, not just the uploaders. You ISP stores IPs as well, ISP is contacted they give out your address
2. the police has bugged your computer with a trojan horse etc and they monitor everything you do, but then you are in REAL trouble anyway and downloading games is the least of your concern and they still wouldn't care about it because the stuff you got bugged for is probably infinitely worse
3. maybe the forum keeps logs of everything, including what links you click, forum gets raided, but again, for that to happen there needs to be a dev who presses charges, extremely unlikely

In short: it's virtually impossible for you to get in trouble.
You also have to consider that for the police or lawyers etc to even bother with anything someone needs to sue all those anonymous downloaders or press charges. It is extremely unlikely that even bigger devs would ever bother with going after pirates. Their reputation would go down the drain. And if there are no piracy charges or if the dev doesn't hire some shady lawyers that somehow try to track downloads (impossible with OCH!!!) then nothing will ever happen. The police or lawyers won't pursue things like illegal downloading if there is no one who presses charges or wants an investigation.
But as I said, there is no easy way of tracking you here, no one can tell what you download. Your IP is only visible to the one click hoster. No one else. Not other people. So no, you won't get in trouble in Europe, or anywhere else really. There is a reason one click hosting has superceded torrents for many things. No uploading, virtually impossible to track, unless you compromise the OCH or your PC.

And even if a OCH gets raided they only go after the uploaders who earned money and actually shared something. No one cares about the tens or hundreds of thousands who downloaded something.

So that was my very long way of saying: don't worry! Stay away from torrents, only use torrents with VPN. One Click Hosters and downloading games/movies/shows from Mega or Gofile, Mixdrop, 1Fichier and the myriad of other services etc is safe.

Lol pretty much, with hosting sites the international headache of sending a sapina from germany to a website hosted in zimbabwe is a legal nightmare to get evidence from. They are more likely to go to your isp because that place actually keeps logs and has to deal with local laws. With torrents law enforcement will usually only have peers on popular ones and ties your identity to your mac address when gathering evidence.

Government agents are on their way to your house as we speak! They have hacked your password and know it is analfuck69! Through IoT devices they know exactly what part of the game you ejaculated to and will tell your brother all about it when they arrive!

Seriously though, as others have said, in a western country no one is going to come after you for downloading porn you didn't pay for. The person coming after you will be the copyright holder, not the government. And those people will often reside in another country. Their best tool is really submitting DCMA requests to prevent the file from being shared in the first place, which doesn't seem to happen much on F95, if at all.

Having said that, security is still important. Just an ad blocker is probably sufficient when anonymously browsing/DLing porn. Actively antagonizing a creator in a way that hurts their rep/business might provoke them into spending the money to come at you.

If you want to do that (or in general use social media or otherwise create a bigger online fingerprint/draw more attention to yourself), more security would be warranted. The best way for a layman to do that would be to buy the newest version of the book "Open Source Intelligence Techniques" and learn how to protect your anonymity against the kinds of tactics that might be coming at you.

LOL
I have this book and it is one of main my reference books, OSINT is a whole skill tho and that book isnt the only thing in your tool kit but I think what he talks about there is the most accessible. Michael "former glowie" Bazell is goated for making such a comprehensive book on it but there are free to use tools to go through all the steps you need as well

You don't need to worry avout game on this sites.
They are mainly free so you can download they without being afraid of cops ;)
For other games I reccomand you to bought them but I have already download torrent for some game in the past (to test before buying) and I have never received any warn.
Series and film are more dangerous and also music. But you never know if a site is monitored by cops or not.
When I was young my father download ton of stuff but never seen any warn, one day my younger sister download one single from a famous teenage singer and that was an instant warn.
