How should progression work in my H-game (I'm trying to make one and I'm stumped)

Context: I'm trying to make a RPG male protagonist game where you travel across different worlds meeting all kinds a different people

I want to make an h-game thats good even if you ignore all the porn and I'm pretty confident in my game design skills and writing. I currently in the middle of making the demo for my game and I want to know how to go about progression with the girls.

Right now I have it so there are about 3 girls who are always in your main party that you progress with as the games plot moves along and I have no trouble with that, but the problems arise when I try and write girls that arn't in your party. I want to make it so their are 3 optional girls you can meet per a world, but I don't have a clue on how to progress with them.
I was going to make it so you can accept sidequests from them to progress but it ended up being really annoying to program and not that fun at all so I'm not sure if i can do it 20-ish more times. What do you guys think?

are there any games yall like that have both rpg mechanics and dating sim elements? (not just h-games)

Just a thought. Have some girls that ARE the quest you have to do. Saving the damsel in distress for the sex reward from her. Have some that give quests for the reward, and maybe even some that just want sex. Have a choice in each world of doing the quest for one of the girls. Maybe make the hotter girls harder to get, or the ones with more kinky fetishes.

Usually in this style of play there is only one storyline, well, either successfully completed the task, or failed. So in this case there is much less programming of different options. About to fit into the story. I don’t know how and what tasks are planned, but you can always enter into a side story. It doesn't affect the main line, so it doesn't matter what you write. It will be just a separate story that will have to go through.

I want to make an h-game but I also really do NOT wanna make a basic visual novel, I want to make a game thats good even if you ignore all the porn and I'm pretty confident in my game design skills and writing. I currently in the middle of making the demo for my game (male protagonist) and I want to know how to go about progression with the girls.

Right now I have it so there are about 3 girls who are always in your main party that you progress with as the games plot moves along and I have no trouble with that, but the problems arise when I try and write girls that arn't in your party. I would advise you to start with a smaller objective. Think about what is the core of your game, all of the features that your game absolutely need to be a game, and make those first. Once you have actual gameplay, it will be much easier to add or remove things than if you're progressing blindly.

RPGs are particularly hard, especially good ones, and they require a lot of work. If you want to make a game with a lot of content, then yes, it will be tedious to add all of that content, but that is the price you need to pay to have a game with a lot of content. If you're having trouble because you find it tedious, I would advise you to always just stay focused on the scene or quest you are making and not to think about the work that lays ahead. This way, you will avoid discouraging yourself.

Making a game is a process that can take time, so you need to take it one step at a time. Otherwise, your motivation will wither away and you will find yourself unable to progress as you will not want to work on the game.

Add these girls in the main story, maybe into a branch of the story. Not as main girl of course. But sometime your MC should meet them and talk to them.
If your character can interact with them without knowing they are possible girl then you can add quest that depend of relationship with them.
After that without more details on your game it's hard to give you some advises
