How to change Character name and script

So basically close friend of mine looks like one of characters in game Being a DIK.His birthday is coming up but i can not get him anything because of corona situation.So i thought i could change name of Character with his name and also some of text with it.

Thing is i got zero coding experience so please while explaining it consider my current knowledge.

Look at Ren'py incest mods. They may use a say_menu_text_filter function or redefine objects (where the character name is defined). That's a common approach. Someone will probably have to help you if you have no modding experience.

Please don't take the suggestion the wrong way, but it may be an odd gift because he has to play the game as the main character already to begin to enjoy your gift. Then again, it could be fun for him to see it that way. Another idea is to pay someone to create a fan render with that character. You'd have to find someone (probably already doing fan renders for the game) willing to do a commission though.
