How to create a HTML game?

Hey there peeps! For some time im thinking of creating a good HTML game since ive noticed the games quality are decreasing.
Can someone redirect me to some tutorial links on how to create a HTML game?
Even tho i only have knowledge with Joomla im confident that i can learn HTML too .

, mess around with the engine, and use their forums for help. You won't need much HTML skills, unless you revamp a lot of the underlying engine.

Also you can download any number of html games and open the html file in any flat text editor
If you are used to coding you can probably go directly for a plagiarisation and modification approach

Try your hand with twine, specially with the sugarcube story format (twine have many story formats, this is one of the most used). Also, it doesn't hurt if you learn a bit of javascript, or at least have the documentation.
