There are a lot of things wrong with this game. The premise has potential, a huniepop-clone in a sci-fi setting with anime girls, that has legs. But they tripped over those legs pretty much immediately.
In terms of gameplay you have some huniepop-esque dating elements, a match 3 game, and this real time space exploration... thing. ALSO THERE IS NO SAVE FEATURED AND GAME ENDING BUGS. WOO,
The dating elements involve asking the same really weird questions to each girl and then listening to their answers. One of the first batch of questions is "do you have a hunch about how youre going to die?". Which is obviously a bit weird in a first conversation. Unlike huniepop the answers to these questions DO NOT MATTER, only that you asked them.
The other part of the dating (or pickup artistry as this gamer calls it) is being asked two questions before each date. Each questions has two answers to choose from and correct answers will give you some sort of minor advantage in the match 3 section. Now throw all of your dating sim knowledge out the window. BE A CUNT. The correct answer for all the questions I came across was the one that sounded the most dickish. It was pretty gross. Its all about negging, and making everything sexual immediately, and only doing things when you get something in return.
Now onto the match 3 section. It is weird. Its pretty shit. There is no tutorial for it in the version posted here. But through trial and error I figured a few things out. You can move tiles either within their row or column to make matches. Moving a tile will push the other tiles along the row or column you move it along. You can ONLY move tiles to get matches, you CAN'T move tiles to set up matches when the other tiles in the row or column move. Only the first match you make will use things like 4 or 5 matches or L or T shaped matches, everything else will arbitrarily pick 3 of the tiles even if larger combos were possible.
Now it gets WEIRDER. If you make too many matches of the same color you lose. Also it will randomly leave tiles black sometimes and deposit extra tiles above the rows. I couldnt figure out what was going on with that.
Lastly you have the space exploration thing, where you uncover a grid to find anomalies, but there are asteroids and enemy ships, you have limited fuel, and the control system is ARSE. There is fog you need to uncover, but you literally have to get under the fog in a grid box to uncover it. Where you will get shot or hit a rock if one is there.
And what is the payoff for all this? Like 12 really shit animations, 9 of which are unlocked as soon as you start the game.
TLDR:
All in all it is somewhat functional, and the animations unlock immediately for the most part, so maybe you can find a few mins of enjoyment, but overall stay in a galaxy far, far away
