How to translate Atelier Sakura Games?

I would like to translate the games (those in English into Portuguese) for personal use. It's more comfortable to recap the story in my native language. I believe this post will help other people to have their version of the game in their native language, since it is easier to translate from English than from Japanese.

Anyone who can please provide a tutorial on how to do this will have my eternal gratitude
