Ive been playing games on here for a while now but wanted to ask how you actually update a game when a new version comes out.
An example of what i mean is when a new update comes out for a game, say you have version 0.2.1 downloaded and version 0.2.2 comes out, i know you still have to download the whole game again, but do you have to delete the game version you had before and start fresh on the new update, or can you just extract everything from the new version into the old version and rewrite everything?
I know some games say not to use an old save for the newer versions, but for the ones where you can how do you do it?
Mainly an RPGM issue as i have no idea where other systems like Ren'Py keep their saves, as i can delete the game and all the saves will still be there when i download and play a newer version, whereas RPGM keeps all of its saves within the game folder.
