I am currently away on holiday in a well.. more modern country which has actual anty-piracy laws, will I be in trouble if I download games from here?

As the title says, I am currently in another country, Germany to be more precise, how does this site function, is this against the law or what?

Since it's not really peer to peer torrenting and the website isn't on the blocklist (think Piratebay, Limetorrents, RarBG list) you should be totally fine. Especially if you're on holiday rather than a resident, you should be fine.
