It was probably and rpgmaker game, it takes place in a town next to a ruin or dungeon or something like that. At the beginning you control the main girl, also there is a guy with her who is either the fiance or boyfriend, but when you go deeper in the ruins the guy gets some kind of sickness and he stays unconscious. Also the mayor's son curses the main girl so she becomes weak but every time she go back to the mayor's son she gets just a little bit stronger but slowly gets corrupted.
