If you want to know what is not allowed on patreon or subscribestar read the terms of use and community guidelines.
If you are still unsure, contact them and ask them directly.

The only way to get a 100% correct official answer is to talk to them.

Maybe OP is asking about the defacto situation, rather than dejure. Because Patreon can be very selective in rule enforcement.

Yeah, I've heard about a lot of selective enforcement that seems to just come down to whether they notice you or not, or whether people get upset about what you're making. Ultimately they have full discretion to ban you, whether you technically fall within the rules or not

IF that was the case it would be even more reason to contact them and ask instead of asking here, where none of the answers would be official or could be used to stop / reverse a ban / account closure.

It's however not the case. They are not selective in their rule enforcement. They couldn't be even if they wanted to because the rules were put in place by the payment processors.

That is not selective enforcement, IF they were selective, it would mean finding 2 rule breaking accounts and selecting to only ban one.

Again, not true. If your content does not break their rules they do not ban / close your account. IF your content does break the rules, it is taken down for review and the dev is given a chance to modify / fix the issue as proven by the fact that games like summertime saga is still up after going through that process.

I can speak from experience. A few months ago i reported a game on Patreon and here for having real zoophilic images in it.
F95zone took it down in 3 days. On Patreon you can download an update from a week ago that still includes it.

An isolated issue does not mean selective and there could be a number of reasons for their taking longer to deal with reports.

It also does not negate the original point which is that OP should ask patreon if there is anything they don't understand after reading their terms of use. Asking here is pointless.
