I cant play "live with tribe"

Whenever I start the game it stays on a black screen but the game continues running in the background.

Have you tried pressing Alt+TAB?

I have had it with some other, old games that this was the only way to get to the "hidden" real game display.

Or try to start the game windowed?

edit: aaand/or it could be you are missing some video codec, in case the game starts with a "video". (I do not know that game)
