I want to post my game, but I have doubts following the guide.

Use the BBCode template and fill in the data. The preview just tells you what it's going to look like.
For images, you have to attach them to the post, and also you need to include a preview image at the top of the page.

Those uploading rules are for uploaders. You can't post your game directly in the game section, instead you go to game request.
