Tool I want to start translating a game on Anim Engine, where do i begin?

So I never had translating experience before this but I want to try and translate 1 game that I really enjoyed so other people are able to play it.

I tried to check links and guides and most seem to be for RPGM and Unity.

Does anyone who's well versed in anim engine point me to the right direction?

It's on here, there's an "anim.py" script that takes apart the sce_define file. Crowd uses the same engine.
