Usually with these games if the 'childhood friend' is living in the same house, it's the sister. Landlady is mother. Landlady's good friend is the aunt.

nah she doesn't have the usual "landlady and roomate" type stuff and she doesn't live in the same house, however she and the mc grew up together and u can choose her relation at the start so i was wondering if she's meant to be something specific or if it's vague on purpose.

It's deliberately vague because of Patreon rules.

They can be siblings if their parents died and they were raised in separate homes by different surrogate parents. For instance, Aunt Janice is not his real aunt, but his foster mother, and Clarissa was adopted. Easy.

Or you could make them cousins easily, if sibling incest is too strong for you.

But they can also just be childhood friends, if you don't like incest at all.

This game is amazing! ...so far anyway.
I really like the artstyle, there seems to be a lot of characters with...potential, so that should mean replayability...I hope.
And the late 80s setting is a good choice, music and the lack of things like social media and mobile phones (unless you're a big shot that is).

This is a catalog ad. This is not how skaters looked in the 80s. This is how corporations tried to advertise "edgy" clothes to parents. This is what parents in the 80s *wished* their skater kids would wear. Skating one minute, church the next. There is absolutely nothing in this photo I would have worn as a skater kid in the 80s.
