Unity - Completed - I Will Purify You [v1.0.0] [Cheese Burger Studio]

An very fun vampire survivors type game, this time with platforming. It's as good as a non-porn game in all aspects! Deck subtypes, perma-upgrades, quality of life stuff, cute little pixel animations for the bosses, This game is super underrated!

As is usual in good gameplay types, the actual porn isn't all that good. It's live2d and quite well animated but the dialogue is "my pussy is being beaten by dick *gorilla noises*" and MTL at that, the scenes themselves last 2 minutes with 3 minute intervals. This is not really fappable

I'd deduct a star for the "not fappable" part and the subpar (but readable) translation, but this game is 2.5 stars as of writing and that's dirty with the RPGM cg slop on this site.

Fun vampire survivors-type game, just instead of it being isometric it has a platformer element to evade enemies or become trapped by poor planning.

Idk if the difficulty was reduced in 1.0.0, but I haven't had any issues with it being hard.

The h-scenes could be better and I wish there were more girls/bosses, but the ones here are pretty hot. I imagine they plan on releasing DLC to flesh out their 'world map' and add more girls.

The game feels genuinely too hard and the mechanics feel very tedious.
I've played some games of this style before, like... holocure, right? So a main thing I've noticed is that upgrades don't do enough. I think you should be able to have SOME passive health regeneration. Maybe I just didn't pick the most optimal weapons or something... the fact that you only have 3 of the buffs when you level up and then you might just not upgrade something. The upgrades don't even seem to do much, other than like just... increase in damage or something. It should have more AOE as it starts getting more enemies. The cross' aura should get bigger a little and deal more damage as you go further in, there maybe should be more garlics upon some upgrade. You should be able to have more attacks when you upgrade a weapon; like, throwing two holy water molotovs instead of just one, or a dagger throwing out two daggers instead of just one and therefore having more AoE but also maybe more instances of damage. The prayer beads explosion should maybe get bigger, or should start spawning more explosions next to it. The guitar should get a bigger AoE as you upgrade it, I think that the gun ranges are also quite static. This wouldn't be as much of a problem if you could get A LOT of weapons; putting weapons into the level up screen isn't great when you can only get two of them when every weapon is really static. If you just want to improve their damage, make it scale a little with your level or have a weapons upgrade perk, so that you could pick and choose what type of weapon to use through a run.

Would love it if there was some way to get progression to a boss level you were at before, faster. I didn't get all the way through, the only reason I'm not putting in one star is because the girl was hot. It has the bare minimum for a two star rating:
- Has SOME gameplay
- Porn content is appealing

Gameplay is decent and it has potential but the demo has some seriously horrible balance issues. Most of the items are useless, either because there are just way too many enemies to deal with, or they are just terrible in general. One glaring issue are the 'loot goblin' enemies that run around that give you an immediate level up upon defeat, however they take 1 damage no matter how big of a hit you do so if you are using a slow weapon they aren't worth the effort to go after. A common item is a shield that negates 1 hit but even just running through one ghost has you taking health damage because they do rapid small hits so whats the point of having a shield that absorbs a whole hit instead of x damage. And there are just too many items that are specific to certain weapon types (reload speed only affects guns which make up a small percentage of possible weapons, close range things like garlic or cross are really only useful for melee builds, useless on ranged weapons where you are just better off taking one of multiple +dmg upgrades). Enemy variety is also severly lacking.

Porn wise, there is no integration into the gameplay. You get nothing unless you completely beat the level. They may add some defeat scenes (although I doubt it since it is a male protag game with the one scene being male dom) and it doesn't seem possible for them to add anything in mission. The one scene that is in the demo is ok, but nothing amazing. Good animation but really short loops and lots of mediocre dialogue.

Will have to see what changes they make before launch but the demo doesn't inspire confidence when it comes to gameplay. And with the porn being so spread out and not integrated into the gameplay at all, makes me just want to play a normal game with better balance/mechanics and just watch some porn later.
