Ideas to become a better animator

Hey there, since I've seen A LOT of room for improvement at basically 9 out of 10 animations, I thought I'd share some of my thoughts here, a combination of design basics regarding video, target audience and other stuff.

Regarding Animations

1. Pussies and dicks aren't dry when having sex. Almost every animations lacks of any kind of fluids, a blowjob is dry as hell, pussy isn't dripping, nor is the dick. Some animators do that (rarely) and it looks so much better. Make your animations become more alive spending time on fluids. Fluids are a response from the body and the amount is kind of attached to the feeling of how much a person enjoys something - that translates to animations as well. The more the characters seem to enjoy what they're doing, the more the spectator will be attracted. And last but not least, it's the most hot thing of all.

2. Add cum! Have you ever seen a full porn movie without someone cumming? It's always the highlight towards the end or even several times through the movie. In animations we even have the gift to make the female cum way stronger/more visible, which is highly appealing.

3. Keep Male feet out of the scene. Nobody likes male feet, not even women, they're just hurting the aesthetic of the scene. Nobody wants to jerk of to a pussy with a big fat male foot behind it. (I'm male myself, so no offense!)

4. Better camera angles, or do provide a nice highlight, if you focus on something else! Your model is riding the guy frontal and we can only see her face and boobs? Well, that's challenging, no pussy, no dick - the boobs and face will carry the weight of the whole scene now. It's not enough to just let her ride and close and open her eyes. Make her touch and squeeze her boobs, add oil/fluids to the boobs, let her face make some sexy expressions. Try to make the boobs bounce or move in a way one can already feel the gravity just by looking at it. A lot of animatons here just use the basic model with some basic movement - that's boring! That clip will never be preferred over others.



Regarding your target audience

1. IF you add cum/orgasm scenes at highlight towards the end, don't let the clip just end then. Your target audience most likely will jerk off to your animations, and as humans that we are, we often try to cum in the same time with the protagonists of the clip, because this way we feel better into the scene (Masturbation while watching or imaging things is all about pretending to have sex, right? The better the illusion, the better the masturbation).

That means that if you let the characters cum and fade out 5 seconds after that, people will get thrown out of this beautiful scene and the loop/video begins from the beginning. (Or sad souls who forgot to hit the repeat button will sit in front of a black screen cuz the video ended). So take your time for your characters to enjoy the cum moment and at least 20-30 seconds afterwards - just like in real life.

2. Quality over quantity. A single very great animation will be way more useful than browsing through 40 animations that all lack in good scenes, no orgasms/cums, no fluids that we just skip through because they don't look appealing.


That's it for now. Of course, there are more things to consider, like the facial expression of the characters attached to what's happening, better camera angles giving us a better view at private parts and actually better model animations of those private parts, but I know that animations are lots of work and you should put maximum effort into it. Keep an eye on especially the first 4 points and I'm sure your animations will improve a damn lot, and people will appreciate that and prefer your animations over those dry boring mass productions.

This is less about animations than it is about how to improve sex scenes by adding in details. I got excited because one of my weakest points as a dev is transitioning from pose to pose without looking robotic and creating natural looking animations. That being said, some of my favorite sex content and the content that I want to have a larger focus on making, is cum and spit play. That stuff is virtually nonexistent when it comes to amount of content out there. Example of cum play is have the girl take it in her mouth, then she pulls the strands out with her fingers, have it drip down and have her slurp that shit back up. Or you can have two girls swap your cum back and forth, feeding it to one another with fingers or tongue. Another one I would love to see is continously fucking a girl you creampied where every thrust pushes some cum out and makes those queefing sounds. For the spit stuff, it's the same idea but with spit. I fucking love extremely sloppy and spitty, makeup-smearing blowjobs. The sound effects gotta be on point as well. It won't be easy to pull this stuff off, but damn I feel compelled to try to pull it off.

You are for sure right, but fluids are the most hardest things to render, details like an hand squeezing a boobs is a lot of work too.

I think every creator that do animation wants to add fluids and details but it's too much work for small team.
