i literally checked off EVERY SINGLE option except one (in my case unity) and it affected nothing. now, if it only affects just general unmodified browsing (no searching, no tags) then... its as useless as the thumbnail feature because why would i wade through hundreds of threads that don't even pass my fancy when I could dramatically narrow my search with tags and the search engine. its like there is just a dramatically worse experience if you want to cut out bullshit.
