I'm developing a game and need to clarify some questions before attempting to post something once it's partially playable.

1. Regarding listing multiple download methods or sites, should I be the one providing the links?
2. If I don't want to post the game yet and just want to do a devlog, what's the best section to do that?
3. If my game is going to be completely free and any donations, whether through Patreon or otherwise, are completely optional, is it feasible for someone else to be the uploader, so I can only be present to collect feedback and leave the posting tasks, such as links, to the uploaders? Or is it better for me to be the owner of the post?
4. If my game is posted by another uploader, do I still have the right to the Game Developer tag?

1. Either you can provide all the links (with approved file hosters), or provide just one and report the thread so an uploader can provide mirrors.

2. People usually do dev logs here.

3. This is personal preference. I prefer thread ownership so I can make sure it's tagged properly. Regardless of ownership of the thread, if an uploader adds something (game update, warning, etc) you're not allowed to change that, and doing so will get ownership revoked. (Despite some people thinking we can delete their posts, we can not.)

4. Yes. You open a ticket and request the badge. You'll have to prove you're the developer though. I did so by showing my then patreon while logged in, but I'm sure they'd accept other ways.
