RPGM - Completed - I'm Goona Be My Buddy's Strict Mama's Partner [v1.00] [Hoi Hoi Hoi]

The game is truly grindy and you can't do much about it, you can finish it in about 2-3 hours (2 hours and 20 minutes for me), if i had to be honest, i got emotional with the game lol. At the start i hated the story then at the end i felt that the game is relatable to me on some level which's fucked up cuz it wasn't about the hentai to begin with. The art is decent, the grind is long cuz you actually NEED to pass the days and not be done fast, at the beginning the game was mid not hard nor easy, after the first week it got a bit harder then it was super easy. Foreshadowing at the start was CRAZY to say the least, and not just the start but basically everyday. What more do i have to say about the game, would i recommend it to someone? If they play hentai games and i feel connected to them, then yes. Did not expect myself to actually shed a tear playing a hentai game lol i legit hated the story for the hinted ntr part but my heart didn't feel heavy compared to normal ntr, and it didn't leave a bad taste, I'd say one of the best hentai games story wise imo simply for actually relating to the mc (which's again, fucked up)

The game is very short—it took me about 2 and a half hours to finish, and I could have finished it even faster.

It’s a bit grindy in the first two weeks, especially the first, because you have to hunt for items to increase your libido, and it’s harder to raise the heroine’s satisfaction level. But after that, the grind becomes much less noticeable.

Story-wise, I wasn’t expecting anything deep, but it turned out to be one of those "came for the fap, stayed for the plot" stories. Granted, it’s nothing spectacular, but at least it wasn’t a dumb plot created just for the sake of the porn—it had an actual cohesive story from start to finish.

The art is nice. That said, in most scenes, the choice of angles wasn’t exactly to my liking, but it wasn’t bad either.

Overall, it’s a nice game to pass the time. I wouldn’t really recommend it for a quick fap, though.

I give it a 2 because despite being too short, most of it is just you grinding for the next objective while skipping the scenes that you already saw dozens of times. And while the art was nice, the scenes left much to be desired.

This game is something I was not specting.

It's a short and grindy games, if you are not into that, just leave.

But animations are a bunch and are well done, sound effects are also great.
The story is the best of it, I was not specting a story which "kinda" makes sense and most if it was very well written.

The realisation at the end was something you kinda knew from the second loop, but whent it was hinted I didn't saw it coming.

The gameplay loop sadly is very grindy, but overall, a good game to finish in 2/3 hours

i mean it feeled kinda boring, the Desings are very nice and the story is good but just that, its not bad but mid. plus it has a lot of scenes but not too good for my taste. the gameplay i didint like it i was so tedius. but i liked the corruption. mid game not bad but mid not too good not too bad 5/10

Hoi Hoi Hoi is at it again. Out of all the games I've played of theirs so far, this one had the best story so far. Really hits you in the feels towards the end.

Pros:

• A lot of scenes to collect
• Milf x Shota (turn off for some people)
• Tiny hint of NTR but not really
• Around 1-2 hours to complete
• BGM changes per week which is refreshing
• Some scenes are animated and sfx are good

Cons:

• Grind can be a bit meh at times
• If you don't know how to manage time or your stat bars you may struggle a bit
• Wish there were a few scenes with the other two characters

Gameplay
Gameplay in the early game is a whole chore to get through. At the forty minute mark, I was ready to give up, but the other elements kept me going. Luckily they did as the game massively speeds up towards the end. I understand the creator was likely going for a <gradual corruption> type of game. But I think if there was going to be a speedup, it should've been in the first half and then slow down in the second half so that at least the feeling of artificial difficulty increase is there. This could even fit in with the idea of being okay with earlier actions, but she becomes more and more hesitant as the game progresses until the ending where she breaks her inhibitions.

Story
Story is quite cute. I called the twist early and was surprised it was presented as a twist. But the relationship dynamic between the friend's mom and the MC is good. The slow discovery that both characters care about one another and that their mutual tie to MC's friend binds them together is something that kept me going through the early game. I genuinely wish I could've seen more. More of the endgame relationship between the two characters plus mom and MC's friend. To see how that conversation played out or to see one of those silent montages of their time being two friendly couples. I think that's telling of the well done romance that is present here.

Erotic
The Friend's mom's body type is perfect for any MILF lovers out there and is basically the reason I downloaded this game. The different "moves" are also pretty diverse and I enjoyed seeing the MC's mom in the latter portion of the game. The early game being such a slog made it also really hard to get through because that's when the least amount of erotic stuff is being shown. My other complaint is that I would've liked to see more out of the mom stuff. Either a new game plus or something that would show us what MC's friend was seeing, but maybe that's just a personal preference regarding wanting more variety during longer games.

I am giving this a 3.5.

The story is good, but the gameplay at the beginning is really tedious. The true end is easy to get however. Managed 100% in less than 2.5 hours.

I wish we got to play with the other perspective, and there was more scene variety.

Overall though its pretty decent.

The game is good. The "corruption" is good and with the TRUE ENDING everything really links and makes totally sense. It's no BS game like most of the others. The animations are good, the heroine looks good and has a nice body, the characterizations of the characters is really good, nothing bad to say about it.

The only thing I didn't really like was that Would have been better if there was some kind of NG+ where you can see those H-scenes.

Would I recommend? Absolutely not, just get the save and be glad you didn't have to waste hours of your life on incredibly tedious gameplay.

Good directing work on the animations and the very quality of the animations. The variety of sex scenes was a little lacking. I liked the plot twist with the computer game that the main character was playing and the fact that it turned out to be not just a game, but a parallel narrative of another story.

It's definitely a niche game, and I'm probably not the target audience. I wasn't too big on the massive amount of text in the last bit of the "true ending".

Art was good, and the animations were pretty good in quality. No stuttering or low framerates either.

The story was alright until the last bit, but the ending was mid at best, so overall kind of disappointed in the conclusion, but that's just my opinion.

Really wasn't a big fan of how emotional the game was. I get it, it's not an NSFW game like others, but this really didn't feel like it fit the flow all that well.

Now this game, it looks like they're aware of the criticism they got for the last game since there's a few joke references in the dialogue to the many complaints we have mentioned about their previous titles.

So this game by itself? The gameplay is still tedious as fuck, it's better than the last game by a huge mile though as the gameplay is streamlined with very little rng, worse u can get is not having enough item around to reach the percent to use a high sex choice which at the very least u can do a low with minimal loss to your progression. I only ever once barely lost a day not giving her 100% conq. A tip I'd give is that since low sex choice doesn't lower erect state, always get as much porn mags to raise your points as possible to reduce how much u need forba high or medium asap. Now I don't really have an issue with the collectathon to get erect but it should have been done better.

Like, low doesn't make u lose erect % that's fine, but the other two should have subtracted their respective percent amount instead of reducing everything to 0, it was so annoying to run around pickin panties just to reach a percent, just to lose all of it even if u ran above 100%. This is especially annoying cuz some of the mags are outside AND in MC's apartment so that's a lot of tedious movements. The 2nd week felt agonizing compared to the rest of the game i stg cuz FMC starts to resist and make your advances do low ass shitty percents that u want medium and high as muchas possible.

Once MC gets horny as fuck and you find her weakness, the gameplay is better because it actually takes less time to make FMC submit.

Now for the story, the twist was expected but i actually enjoyed the story a lot and I'm glad it was written better than the last game. But i ain't gonna lie the true end is hella wordy and fucking hilarious what the devs were on when writing it lmao. Definitely the Art and Story was the best thing about this entry. I see some ppl not liking the art, but honestly i think it looks great, idk what's wrong with it exactly, I do have a special place in my heart for the pixel art though, always will. This game is when hoihoi returned to using animated 2D, it's been a while since I've seen them use it, i think the last one was the game where the MC was secretly a playboy and turned his mom's friend into a slut (iirc).

The sex scenes were neat, some were unqiue, i wish they did more with the cock smelling cgs progression but i thought the scenes were pretty good. Wish there was more sex scenes though since the gameplay ones were pretty limited to what, 6 total?

So yea, overall good game, better than the last one, hard to recommend if u don't like the gameplay, story is nice but imo it's not that bad compared to previous entries, but it's definitely grindy and tedious but they didn't add the bullshit rng garbage that gated progression like the last game. I don't tend to rate stuff cause it takes a lot of time, but this game really deserves a good rating. This one it's not the common game full of betrayal, instead you found a outstanding visual novel with relaxing and simple game mechanics. Trully one of a kind, I would definitely give it a solid 4 out of 5, and doesn't get the five stars just because you don't have that much liberty, but the art and story helps to ignore that fact. Now having the overall experience cover I must say that the way of having a progression of techniques it's interesting but in this case it's kinda boring cause you are stuck with just 3 decisions and 0 challenge, and in terms of how the game works with the scenerios it's well made cause you don't face problem with the character movement.

Hoi Hoi Hoi at it again w/ makin' start for the Plot™ but staying for the plot.

-The game is super repetitive and arbitrarily grindy for the purpose of having a small cutscene at the beginning of each weekday. So gameplay is bad/not great.
+However, I kept going because I dig the art, the story was getting interesting, and the ending had me clapping (my hands).

Barely a game, but I got an hour and a half out of it. Three Stars.

To start off, this game has some good animations and art, with the game mechanics being not too complicated, being able to even be described as simple. This is in no way a bad thing and does not make the game too boring to play.

The game's story is the main captivator, with the story being one of loneliness, self-sacrifice, heartache, and finally finding true love. While some may complain about the protagonist not being able to mess around with every love interest, and those love interests ending up with other people, I would argue that plot element is for the better, as it keeps the player immersed in the theme of true love, heartache and loyalty within the story.

Overall, if you like games with nice graphics/animations, see story as one of the most important (if not most important) elements of any h-game, and you love a good ol' true romance story, than this game is for you.

Kinda disappointed at how after all the grind, the payoff didn't feel remotely satisfying. This work doesn't feel like it was invested as much as other titles from the same author who also made the amazing gyaru game and its sequel.

Great little game that's worth the play for the story and scenes... Would be a 8.5/10 if I could of rated it, reason being mostly the first half of the game that is tedious. Scenes and CG's are A tier.

Others aren't a fan of the art but I love it and is my favourite style. To complement this, the CG's were fantastic with high quality. scene SFX were great as well.

The first and second weeks are very grindy, but that eases and you get to enjoy more steamy content quicker. Would of been nice to have some scenes from the living room in other rooms during the week.

Not being able to skip days until the 2nd last week was annoying but fine.
The maps of the shower and toilet could have been merged to the bathroom so you don't have to check every single room for items. Multiple times I needed to cross balconies but instead had to run all the way around and back so having a way across would of cut the grind a little.

Story aside, the game has nice art, decent animation, and a decent handful of scenes. Your control of the scenes is good at some points, lacking at others (sometimes they end abruptly). Unfortunately it is quite repetitive and very grindy. You can still get through it in 2hrs if you're lucky, but it really ought to take half that.

It's hard for me to make a recommendation for/against playing this game. I guess just go with your gut. I'm not really sure what audience this game dev had in mind when he created the title, since I think there are things everyone will like and dislike. Would seem more logical to pick a group the game is for, and give that group everything they want and nothing they don't... but, I'm just a coomer reviewer so wtf do I know

Anyway this seems to be their first using live 2D to animate the scenes...
The start of the game is quite the slog but new scenes are unlocked as surrender rises. After 6 days or so your erection will rise easier... you can always SCROLL down the menu when talking to the milf to see the other 2 options which allow you to stop talking with her or passing the day without any intercourse...
The scenes were good to look at but theres seriously TOO much stuff to read specially at the end of the game when you get the TRUE ending.
Could have been much better tbh but its not a bad game.
