Im having a hard time getting local emutlator to work

Hello. Im trying to play a visual novel that I downloaded online and I guess I have to use a software call local emulator to play it. Its just that when I try to run the game with the software, the game dosent run and its all a bunch of gibberish. I set everything on my pc to japanese. so I know that there isnt a language issue with the game. Help, I need help.

Make sure you do everything, if only that specific game still doesn't work, it might be something else and you might want to check the specific game thread for more information.

If the error message just shows gibberish and not english or japanese characters then you probably have done something wrong, start from scratch in that case.

And if the message is readable then just read what it says, that often helps.

Ok now that we can read the error message, it just says that the game is already running, close the process and try again.

If the version you downloaded is bugged then try downloading the game from here, this one worked for me.
