I'm thinking about developing a simulation game, but one that's a little more dynamic and fun. I'd love some advice based on my experience.

Hi, I've actually been here for a while but I was just a consumer. I liked to see the projects and check how they were made and study them. 3 years ago I wanted to develop a point and click game but it seemed to me that I had very vague knowledge and I knew that developing a game is not something easy and you have to have great ambition and a lot of desire and knowledge in various subjects and even more so if I am alone in it. I would like to receive some advice, I have bought the licenses for RPG Marker MV, I know how to use Java after 4 years, and C# with Unity. I still need to practice a little with Unreal Engine. I have made some test games before and helped with the code on some freelance jobs, but I want to do it myself. I am not a great artist, but I think I am decent enough to start. I am not a professional in the area, but I try to get ahead. I have the idea, the script, the scenarios, the characters still need more aesthetics and development since it takes me about 1 or 2 weeks to make a character, with all its facets, clothing, and then separate them to be able to simulate a change of clothing or touches. I have tried to test with Maker and Unity, but I still do not feel sure of it. I would like to receive some advice from you, consumers and devs. I am new to this world, and I really like the work you do, I admire you a lot. I would like to receive some advice like what? should do first to be able to develop the game that I have wanted for some years, I want to try to get ahead on my own, I do not have the economic capacity to hire some artists or programmers, I want to get ahead with the little talent that I have, but I want to create something that everyone likes and can enjoy, and that is not boring, that has freedom of options to choose from, that is not linear or routes, that is totally free, for which I have also learned a little 3d modeling in blender, although I have problems with animations, what can you advise me according to your experience as developers and consumers, should I try something smaller and in what engine should I start, I know that it will take 6 months or 1 year to achieve results due to my lack of experience, I ask you with all my heart for your sincere advice.
