VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Incest Story- Sister [v1.0] [HotGame]

-Not a bad story but i don't think anyone proofreaded it before adding it to the game.
-Sex scenes not bad but very bad linked to the text making you finish the text long before the scene.
-hiden kinetic game as no choices matter.

It's not a terrible game. There's a solid premise but by god the writing is awful. It's definitely an English as a second language game. Past that it's filled with static character models, each person you talk to has a single image for their character which you see over and over again. Everyone is vaguely well groomed with eyes fixed at a middle distance target somewhere behind the camera. There are animations for the sex scenes, but they're not that great. You'll finish it in about a half hour if you don't bother to try and read every bit of text.

It's a cheap kind of a game, short, but not totally bad.

That really impairs the immersion, e.g. when the text says "smile" but we see the same serious static image. Or it says "Looking out the window", but we still see the same boring interior... (1*)

Overall, passable (but with more work it could be much, much better).

Folks should certainly consider skipping this. The idea for the story is nice and ticks the fetish box but my goodness it needs a lot of work.

The writing is terrible. Maybe it's all ai....

None of the writing makes sense and should be redone. I'm sure there are many kind folks around here who might help.

The artwork doesn't really count since it's that ai stuff (I think). At any rate, it could have been done better.

A VN that tries to hide its many flaws behind overwrought prose.

Plot-wise, it's as advertised. You are in college. Your sister arrives. You bang. There are also another couple of girls, and you may bang them too.

Visually, the game is undercooked. Most of the story is told sprite-over-background style, except for the sex scenes that are a series of three or four short animations played with no connecting shots between one and the next. No attempt is made to have the characters express emotion: whatever is happening in the game the characters have the same dead expressions like actors who haven't been paid enough to be here.

A visually unimpressive game might make up for it in plot and writing, but this one doesn't. This is a game where nothing really happens. It is a sequence of scenes where love interests just kind of fall on the protagonists's dick without him having to do anything but be there. Allegedly you start off the game estranged from your sister then make up, but you never actually do anything about it, you just show up and it happens.

The game tries to hide this flaw in flowery writing, never using a five cent word when a ten dollar word is available, but that just adds to the alienating feeling of the disconnected plot and robotic acting: the characters don't have any character, and the protagonist's internal monologue does not sound like how anyone would actually speak.

Bland.

Poorly translated. I can usually just mentally translate and can ignore such. Not this one... Cookie cutter 2D characters are just repeats frame to frame with unnatural text flow even if you internally translate. It was just too bad for me to go any further than 15 mins into this. Not worth the effort.
