Ren'Py - Indecent Desires - The Game [v0.28 Alpha] [Vilelab]

I don't know what happened with this game... did they change devs? And the new one said to himself: "You know all those shitty Sandbox-games? Let's make it even WORSE!"

When you start, there is story. Progress. You actually get to see things as if someone thought this through. But at some point you get thrown in this sadbox-mode without ANY form of guidance. You have to check EVERY location, EVERY room of EVERY House, just to see if there may be an event ready. And then don't forget to talk to EVERY character, to see if they have any new lines.
And there is no consistency. I saw one of the girls in her room, playing with her phone. She didn't want to talk. So I keep checking rooms and suddenly find the same girl in the pool waiting to start an event. So even if you checked on all the Characters, you STILL have to check everything else to be sure... And of course you have to do this four times per day (Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night).

Then you have to simply remember all kinds of crap. Train Monday mornings, Wednesday Afternoons and Friday mornings. Check on the Maid on Thursday afternoon. Meet the neighbor on Saturday afternoon. Meet the bimbo on the beach on Sunday Afternoon. Sarah uses the Sauna sometimes...this is exhausting!

And then you need money for specific events. So don't blow those 100$ you start with on the hooker. But wait... didn't the beachbar-guy say something about a job before this horrible Sandbox-crap started? Well better ask him three times a day for a week, hoping he'll remember. Spoiler: he doesn't. Apparently when your money is gone, it's gone. So no more progress with the girls because you can't afford to go shopping with all of them or buy drugs for the russian.

The only silverlining for this dame are the visuals. They are really good. The renders and animations are quite the eye-candy. If it werent for this, I would have rated it with a single star.

I really want to rate this game higher. They followed me on twitter so I decided to check it out, it was my first experience with a VN, I liked it, hell I even pledge for it, but that was like 2 years ago and the gameplay wasn't a sandbox.

The sandbox change was horrendous. The lack of any hint system and updates do not provide a lot of scenes made it horribly bad. I've never rated anything on this site, but it's sad for me to see this game being run down to the ground.

This game is a sh*tshow. You start the game there are hot women around you . Nice. You talk to them nice renders nice character arts . Theeeen done. It's gone. The game doesn't have anything to offer. There are nothing in this game. It's gameplay is grindy . It's unplayable withouth a walkthrough even with a walkthrough it hurts trying to play this. This has no content which is a big shame because this game has the best characters and art I have seen on the site .Even with the litte content it limits you . You don't want to blackmail gone half of the game . Unplayable game. Change the UI add content add scenes add a hint system and remove the grind best game on site.

Just played through this game .... and I wondered why the scenes with the main female characters seem to be half done or rushed through? So I thought maybe I did not do things right. But before I started a new play, I decided to check the game art first. because ... well, there was a nagging feeling that I may be playing a "milker". So I look through all the art, and guess what? Sarah, Kate, Monique and Victoria .... all assets are either half hanging, or start and finish within less than 10 pictures.

For a game in development since 2018, this is terrible progress. then half way through, the dev decided to go sandbox. hahaha. assets are already weak for a straight thru VN for the story progression on the main characters, and the dev decides to go for the more complicated design of a sandbox? no offence ... but that reeks of a milker dev.

And the story for Victoria ... is like the dev flipping the bird at the player. I looked through ALL the pictures and thought ... Wow, what a FU gesture for it to end like that.

So ... if you are playing this game in hopes of getting to see some decent porn involving Sarah, Kate, Monique or Victoria ... maybe better you come back and look again sometime 2021.

For now, I say this VN is not worth your time and effort, even to download for free and play.

I have been playing this game from the very beginning. At the beginning the game was very good, because it had this usual visual novel style gameplay, but then suddenly it turned into a sandbox game. I don't mind for sandbox games, but the problem of this game is it's completely butchered. You have no clue what to do next, where to go. on top of that you don't even know how to trigger the new scenes. There ain't many scenes in each update, and finding them with countless number of combination will take hours or even days. having a walkthrough is required. However, the graphics in this game is quite good.

No way to know what are you doing. No event record, no funtional gallery, no hint system. Even travel game's sapace and time is awful slow. You are going to listen the same song time after time while doing nothing.

I follow this game for 8 months the story is is good and the graphics

But the grinding is too much there is no hint and the money issue you waste too much time to earn the money overall grinding is too much your headless to follow that makes it more grinding

The woman are good but its easier to get laid off in real life rather than here the developer needs to change or add many things he even uses renpy

Review:
The beginning of this game has been going normally, even if I don't like the script of the story, I continue to follow. In the synapse of the game, he says that the MC is a "hero", the typical MC that will fuck all the women in the house, however, this is totally different, you will see the MC giving his ass.
The story of this game is by far one of the stories you will want to follow, I mean after the game leaves VN mode and enters Sandbox mode.
I arrived at a moment when I got tired and stopped playing it.
Gameplay:
If you've played M.City, the sandbox gameplay is almost similar, but in this game it is quite bad. There are many rooms in the house, and most of them you will have nothing to do. It is a completely empty game. And then you leave home, visit other places, like college for example, therefore, you will see that there is no difference at all, just like other places. You need to find and do the events with the characters, and the game doesn't have any tips or information, so you either have to use a walkthrough or you will be lost without knowing what to do. The gameplay of this game is very tedious and very tiring, in addition to making you waste your time playing this (so the best thing is to stop playing and move to the recycle bin).
Graphics and Sex Content:
The graphics are just the strength of this game, your aunt doesn't look like a young woman, that's good, but the sex scenes and animations are not worth much. Most of the scenes are BJ, HJ or a Vaginal Sex, and of course, the MC likes to fuck his ass. Of course, this is optional, but what the hell did a developer put something very meaningless into? I don't see much reason for that and I don't like that.

So, why did I gave 1 star?
I saw some complaints about that game saying it was bad because of the sandbox and others saying it had potential. Yeah, the sandbox for this game is extremely bad, but the content presented too. Overall, I gave a 1 star rating for several bad things that this game has. The story of that game has deviated from the script, you don't feel like the MC is going to corrupt the girls in the house or do something similar. The story of MC's Aunt doesn't seem to follow naturally, as do other NPCs. The gameplay is not very comfortable, there are no hint/tips or objectives for you to do, necessarily you need a walkthrough for not to get lost. Anyway, I thought the story of this game quite whore and stupid, besides the fact of wasting time in this game. Anyway, I don't recommend playing this. Maybe in the future the game will improve, it will be more organized, the interface and the mapping of the locations become softer, but until then, I don't recommend it, try another game.

Updated: I've tried multiple times to go back and play using the walkthrough and the game is a dissatisfying mess. The introduction is perfect, if it stayed a VN this would be a 5 star game. Unfortunate that it is the classic example of how Sandbox ruins a game and destroys a narrative.

I really liked this game when it was just a visual novel, once the developer chose to open it up to be a sandbox game my interest died. There was too much grind and sitting around trying to figure out where to go next. No game should REQUIRE the use of a walkthrough to figure out where to go next. A game should be able to be figured out without a lot of clicking from place to place to find the next tidbit of story.

Pros: Great Renders, Kate is my favorite render in any game so far.

Cons: Sandbox completely ruined the story experience for me. Where before I was progressing with the narrative and learning about the Aunt and cousins at a good pace the story peters to a halt when you enter sandbox.

The game can be amazing; but Dev has to choose one specific way of gameplay. It's all over the place. One minute it's straight forward VN, next it's jumping all over the place with different time and place system without any direction or hint. The models are amazing. Only the gameplay style is holding this game back. Hope the Dev can make it better in future.

Doing good at the start with story also with good render until it change to kinda sandbox thing. Then the story just decent and that sandbox thing just make it more annoying to play. If sandbox game are your kinda game play it.

Started off promising, but that promise dies quickly. Somewhat interesting characters and story idea instantly devolves into pointless empty sandbox wandering.

This needs to be said to far too many game developers here:
IF THE PLAYER REQUIRES A WALKTHROUGH TO FIND EXACTLY WHERE TO CLICK NEXT TO ADVANCE THE STORY, YOU HAVE FAILED AS A DEVELOPER.

Needs a major rework, not worth the download as is.

Started as a perfect renpy game with exceptional renders (Monique one love), and than became sandbox without any progression after a year in production. Developer keeps adding new characters and makes money by selling the renders to patrons for 20-40$ each, without adding them to the game.

Just treat the game as an artist advertisement that will make you to buy artwork from developer. That is all it is.

I think its great. The submissive scenes are great. More please! Ok, now I`m just typing to type, but the game is still great. In my opinion. And deserves a better rating. So, this. I hope this project continous, good luck with it.

Hot women and amazing renders of them with solid animations but that's about all this game has to offer. It's a total chore to even find those renders and animations, everything about this game is simply bad except the renders sadly.

No content that is interesting. Has yet to update the storyline with the main girls at all . Simply boring and I’m not trying to be mean I liked the game at first but now it just seems like it’s not going anywhere anymore

I tried playing the game since it became a sandbox. I think I managed to get through 50% of the sandbox content...maybe, but after that I literally fell asleep. It was a very nice and promising game in the Prologue stages, now it became too slow and boring overall for my taste.
Shame, maybe I'll revisit it when its completed until then ---> Recycle Bin

There is a lot of good in this but it can be hard to get bast the constant back and forth of thoughts and actions. it's a neat idea it just makes parts of the story grind to a halt. A lot of it just feels like filler to pad the time out on the game, or just have some of the time in thoughts trimmed out so it did not feel so padded.

Review for 0.007, I started a new game and played until I dropped the game for hqporner.com because of the lack of erotic action (played for like 130minutes and skipped big parts of the staring dialogue becuase I played an older version alread)

This game is confusing me.... the premis and story promises are somewath generic but have potential. I like the blackmail route for the maid and how many characters are linked to it... thats about it tho
For some reason my game always crashes when I want to check on Sarah on Thursdays (I had this problem in an erlier version and couldnt figure out why), why is that? I cannot progress the story for that reason.
Also getting money is extremely stupid if you don't open the console to increase it (totalMoney=99999), why would you even implement that into the game, nobody wants to do stupid memory games, it doesn't add to the story and makes me wanna switch to a game where I don't have to grind...
In my opinon, the intro is nicely done and the game loses lots of steam when you have to start clicking 100 times to get to every room in every location to talk to every person in the game to maybe progress the story... some highlighters would be a nice addition.

The renders are good, high quality, good lighting and angels, this is the best selling point of the game, which is a shame.
The repeatable scenes are nice I guess...

I want to give a max 2.5 Stars rating aminly for the Aiko blackmail route and the really nice renders but I can't and am in a bad mood so 2 stars for you

In my vision of an adult game you should not have to spend minutes on end doing nothing, passing ingame weeks just going to the gym 3 times while doing nothing just to get robbed.... get a gun and then fucked by a tranny. This ammounts in like 20minutes of decreasing player arousal with no payoff in the end. Hence i stopped playing.
So for the future add more erotic content, eliminate grind, increase quality of life and make the story progression easier to understand (maybe add a hint button for the different paths)

This game needs an NTR tag. Also why are they all so terrible to the maid? Story is confusing, are they all prostitutes except for the older woman and doctor? Apparently they are students too, very strange and incoherent circumstances. Feels like a game made by someone who has never actually lived in the real world for even 10 minutes. Good renders though.
